I was wondering if anybody else reads these.
Not only do I buy the books by Ian Fleming but I also collect the ones written by other authors, which are no longer available...Although I have heard talk that John Gardener's books are going back into print! ;D

Hey there Percy I actually started the same thread about a year ago! Nice to know that there is someone else is interested in this brilliant series! I've got all of the Fleming books, and most of the continuation novels, including Colonal Sun, Devil May Care, and all but two of Gardner's and two of Benson's. I also have the first two Moneypenny Diaries, the first 4 Young Bond books and 4 of the Graphic Novels (the Titan published comic strips) And for Gardner going back into print? That's fantastic news! I've been hunting for a copy of SeaFire and COLD for ages! Now I might finally be able to get them. By the way, have you heard about The Union Trilogy book they;ve recently published? Apparently it has the first-time-published FULL version of the short story Blast from the Past in it! I'm waiting for a copy to come through to Australia (which may take months )

I've got COLD, along with Devil May Care (Which I bought from a charity shop nearly two months after it came out for £2)! And no, I haven't heard about The Union Trilogy book, but it sounds interesting nonetheless.

I've read all of the Fleming novels, and quite frankly I found some of them more exhilarating than the movies, especially the Blofeld Trilogy which consisted of Thunderball, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and You Only Live Twice.

James Bond novels... Hmm... Well, the first one I heard on audiobook (with Rufus Sewell narrating) and thus the first one I read of the original Ian Fleming classics was Diamonds Are Forever. And I'm very glad of that. As an original story, Diamonds is a brilliant way to show just what Ian Fleming could do to please his audiences. It's a lot grittier and less universal, I think, than the film made of it in 1971 but I can live with it - that's probably what Ian Fleming intended. Anyway, it's excellent when you want all the James Bond trademarks together - diamond smuggling, a gorgeous blonde named Tiffany Case, a particularly nasty American gang, plenty of gambling in Las Vagas and even a complete Western! Including a steam locomotive and Pullman Saloon to go with it! It's just a shame they wrecked The Cannonball toward the end! That would never be allowed to leave Bond's conscience if it had happened in this day and age! And the welcome return of Felix Leiter, following the latter's injury in the original Live & Let Die. Altogether, worth the read and just the kind of thing I recommend for anyone who loves the most well-known secret agent yet created in English Literature. Warm Regards As Always, Matthew (MRHloco)

I’ve read the Horowitz trilogy which is excellent. I would love for him to go back and make another one actually
