This thread is all about Coldplay, one of the most popular bands in the UK and US. Feel free to discuss your favorite songs, videos, their latest album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends and more.
For me, I like Coldplay's music. My interest began when I heard the song Speed of Sound on the radio. After that, I felt compelled to listen to their music. My favorite songs are Clocks, Fix You and Viva La Vida (from their newest album.)

For some reason whenever I listen to Coldplay they remind me of Snow Patrol and The Fray.

You know, some people claim that Coldplay sounds similiar to U2. I honestly find that hard to believe.

Well I did hear the song called 'Fix You', but I find it very annoying. Sorry for the offense, but my sister loves that song.

I only like Clocks by Coldplay, and that's about it.
Apart from that, I actually dislike them.

I only know them for Viva la Vida. Otherwise I don't care for them...

Besides Clocks, Fix You and Viva la Vida I'm not really a big fan.

My remarks in here are clearly long-overdue. Well, as it happens, I have a great respect and admiration for Coldplay. Clocks was, I think, the first of their songs I ever heard, followed by this list of titles (not in respective order): In My Place White Shadows Fix You The Scientist Talk Speed Of Sound Don't Panic Shiver Spies Yellow Anyway, a brilliant band with a very high talent level. I believe that they come from Devon - hence why I always listen to their music on my iPod whenever my family and I are crossing Dartmoor on our way to a holiday in Cornwall. Warm Regards As Always, MRHloco

I'm not too familiar with "Clocks", but after my dad played Viva La Vida for me, I liked that song, plus it's got a catchy beat.

I may not be big on Coldplay. But I do like their song "Clocks". Whenever I listen to it, It reminds me of the time when it was released and what I was doing at that time. It's a nice song. But no, It does not remind me of that Peter Pan movie from 2003.

Coldplay, gotta love them! I have all their albums. Viva la Vida may be overplayed on radios and such, (it least here in the U.S.,) but it is a VERY good song regardless.
