Does anybody else on here like Michael Jackson\'s music. He started out in the Jackson 5 in the 1970\'s, but in 1983, he had the biggest selling album of all time out on the shelves, Thriller.

I'm a pretty big fan. I downloaded "The Essentials" on iTunes a few weeks ago, actually. Good stuff.

I recently discovered Michael about a year ago. I remember I wasn't too interested in him, especially with his reputation now in the news and whatnot. But then I heard some of his songs, and wasn't pleasantly surprised as to how good they are. Some favorites of mine include: Billie Jean, Bad, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, and Thriller.

I thought Micheal Jackson is okay, but the only song I like is Thriller, that was retro-awesome!!

I like a few of Micheal Jackson's song, but on the whole he's not somebody I'd go and see live.
In fact, someone at my college made a vox-pop about him where they went asking people about their views about him. I think some more liked him for his music than anything, and before we finished for Easter some people in my course were talking about his comeback and if anyone was going to see him or not.

Michael Jackson had some really awesome hits, and one only needs to listen to the "Thriller" album to know why he ruled the charts in 1983. Almost of my favorite Jackson songs are from "Thriller" alone, but I also like "The Way you Make me Feel", "Rock with you", and "Black or White". As far as his face and legal troubles go though, I have no comment.

Just followed the whole thing on Facebook with my friends now Its a shock, thats for sure. I mean, come on we had to admit, he was never going to all those 50 dates and he was never in the best of state recently but like always with death you never expect them. He gave a great contribution to pop music and will be remembered for a long time.

Just heard the news too.
Can't say I was into his kind of music, but he was a legend, who has had a rather troubled life! And I agree with Jarrah White , I felt he was still a little boy inside.
At least now hes at peace.
God Bless MJ

WOW, I was on my way home an hour ago and heard this on the radio. I am astonised and have no words for this. I won't miss him as the person he was accused of, but I definitely shall miss him as an entertainer, singer, dancer, music LEGEND. This is huge to me.
