I just started reading J.M. Barrie's "Peter and Wendy" today. Definitely in for a nostalgic journey.

I bought a copy of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows" today, and even though I've just started reading it, I'm definitely enjoying it so far... maybe because of "SiF in the Willows"?

I bought a book off ebay that i've been looking for for ages. It's Biggles Flies North. It has taken me many years to track down a good cheap copy. I've heard so much about this book and how it is pretty good with a great plot. My thought when i finished it? Not that good! It was a sort of anti-climax when i had read it. I felt that it lacked the intensity some of the earlier stories had. I could only think of the reason that the setting and lack of things to happen in the wilds and the 'bad lands' of Canada caused the writer to add various twists to keep the reader interested. What also got me was the fact that one of the characters, who isn't that well known but appears in several books and has a small but significant role to play, wasn't used until the end. He doesn't speak appears to have been forgotten about right up till the end when he goes off to get help. The only saving grace is that it is another book to my collection of Biggles books. 45 so far and counting. Only another 53 to go!

I've just finished reading Charles Dicken's A Tale Of Two Cities. Now I'm awaiting a book by RZA (of hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan)'s book Wu-Tang Manual, as well as Snoop Doggy Dogg - Secrets and Rumors.

I've read just about all of Stephen Kings, some Dean Koontz's (so far) and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (Hilarious!)
One of my absolute favorites is Stephen King's Hearts In Atlantis. This was a BEAUTIFUL novel, and if your wondering, it's not within the horror genre so your just fine!
Right now i'm on Uncle Tom's Cabin. A pretty good novel but hard to read considering the time period it was written in.

I've just finished Littlejohn's Britain. I thought it was a cracking read, very funny as well. Anyone who enjoyed the World according to Clarkson will enjoy it.

I've finished reading "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. I can see why there's all the hype surrounding it. It was really well-written and had some interesting characters.

I've read the first two Hunger Games books. I'm currently reading a book called Future Imperfect. After I'm finished that, I'll finish off the third Hunger Games book!

I'm currently reading one of the last two books in Michael Scott's "Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" series. The series has been an incredible read so far and I can't wait to see how it all turns out in the end.

I'm about to start on "Chronicles of Steam" by E.S Cox, a cracking good textbook on the history of Locomotive design in this country, contains a lot of revelations about certain classes and some very interesting ideas.

I'm currently reading "The Wonder Book of Trains", a book written in the 1950's about railroads in the US. Has lots of interesting history (mostly US railroads), and "modern" devolopments in US railroading. It was interesting to see what they were coming out with to try and attract passengers in a time of passenger decline... Can't believe the public library was going to throw a discard gem like this away!

I hate it so much, it's awful. Maybe someday a review of it from me will show up.

I'm reading 'The Growing Pains Of Adrian Mole' by Sue Townsend. She's a brilliant writer. The book is about Adrian Mole, a 15 year old, intelligent, yet unappreciated boy from the Midlands, England, who hopes to grow up to be a poet, and his basic struggle with life, including: school bullies like Barry Kent, his Head Teacher, Mr "Popeye" Scruton, his parents (who have both gotten themselves into trouble from time to time), his fierce Grandmother, Bert Baxter (an elderly person he's looking after), and his beautiful friend, Pandora Braithwaite. It's funny and very enjoyable to read. The book is in part of a series that Sue Townsend has written about Adrian, this being the second in the series.

I've been reading the Following: M.C. Beaton's Hamish Macbeth Novels, which always start with "Death of a/an " Lillian Jackson Braun's Cat Who novels. All of them are really good.... I think you should check them out, and they are mysteries.
