Who remembers this comical character, created by Astrid Lindgren and adopted for film in the late 60's, 70's and late 80's? I've seen some of the dubbed Swedish films, and the 1988 film with Tami Erin, but never read the original book. I'd love too, though, if I ever get the chance.

I remember there was a Animated series awhile back, still airs on a couple channels here. It tied into some Animated feature specials as well, one my family owned. I didn't mind the series really, kinda funny.

I've never seen the Animated series, but I'm sure nothing can beat the live action films. There's one or two clips on youtube.

I remember the animated series. That was a Canadian production. I knew the lady who played Ms. Pryssilius or however it's spelled. She taught a drama class my sister attended.
It was an alright show, and I recall reading the original book series at one point. I liked them at the time, but I doubt I'd still like it all now.
