For the pokemon anime, I like most of the female character's designs, like Misty, May, and most of the others.
I especially inspired that girl who appeared in Master Quest Episodes "As Clear As Crystal." She was cute.
And I also inspired Ranger Mason in Mother Of All battles, even though I haven't seen that episode yet. But I am looking foward to seeing more. And they're doing a great job on the series, too.

OK, here's something I never got about Pokemon: why was Charizard so d**n popular; why did so many people start with the fire type (in red n' blue, obviously)? Going with either Charmander or Bulbasaur at start would yield a dual class Pokemon at the end, whereas Squirtle would ultimately get pure watery goodness, which had an advantage against most gym leaders. Yet most promotional materials shows Charlizard actually standing a chance... Honestly...
Sorry for the rant. It's just always bugged me. Anyway, Team Rocked does indeed rule. Best part of the show by far, although I haven't seen it in years. I really got into the characters that were only in the radio dramas.

I used to be an avid fan of Pokemon around 1999 although it was slowly getting less popular over time before the newer games were brought out. The only games I've played were Pokemon Red and Yellow.
On Red my first choice was a Charmander but as he was ineffective against rock types I chose Bulbasaur instead. When I accidentally erased this file I started a new one and my sister somehow managed to get Mew and I had a lot of fun with him.
Of course my favourite pokemon type has to be ghost as all the normal and fighting types were no match for my Haunter! Sometimes when I get bored I imagine up new pokemon and I felt that there weren't enough ghosts so I imagined one that was modelled off a purple ghost wearing a knight helmet. There was one dream I had where I saw the successor of Marowak as a gigantic red creature with bones covering his body.

It was my first anime I ever watched, but I have one question.
Exactly where does all the meat come from if all the animals(at least in the show) are Pokemon? Kinda scary to think someone's Pokemon could wind up getting eaten, anyone have any suggestions?

It probably comes from the same plot hole that you must be at least 10 years old to catch Pokemon, yet there are children much younger than 10 who own Pokemon, both in the Anime and games.

In one ep of the first series Brock mentions that Farfetch'd (sp?) taste nice and because people eat loads of them, it's why there are so few of them left. So we know in the anime (in the dub at least) people eat Farfetch'd. That however doesn't answer the question where the rest of the meat comes from...

They sound likely...

But in that one episode where Ash,Misty Borck, and Team Rocket were stranded out at sea and they tried to eat that Magikarp that James got on the ship before sinking,Misty said it was all scale and bones(or at least in the english dub)

Well, that's only like saying chicken is all feathers and bones. Has Misty ever been seen eating some kind of meat on the show? Otherwise else we can safely assume she's a vegetarian.
I mean, Lapras are nearly extinct because they're hunted down right? Do we actually know what they're hunted down for? My main guess would be for food.

It makes sense that Pokemon get hunted and eaten - there aren't any 'normal' animals like cows etc to eat in that world as far as I'm aware. And I highly doubt that captured Pokemon would be killed for meat, rather wild ones. OK, there may be catchers whose sole purpose in catching Pokemon is to kill / milk / exploit for food, but I don't think that people would hunt Pokemon owned by other trainers.

Pokemon Platinum was recently announced. Looks like Shaymin, Regigigas and Giratina have new forms due to their new forms appearing in the next movie. Looks neat. Both Dialga and Palkia are available for capture this time.

I don't know, Giratina looks freaky enough, and Shaymin looks ridiculous no matter what. On a side note....
WOO!!! I finally caught Feebas today after two hours of trying!

Ha ha, it took you two hours! I use to love the show, it was exciting and funny at times. But I've grown irritated at Ash and his pikachu. I never really understood the card game, but the gameboy games are great. I still play mines (and collosseum for gamecube) and I finally got all 200 on Emerald, and it's funny seeing the game trash talk, then I use thunderpunch, and they instantly lose. For the meat question, there's plenty of them that can be eaten. Milktank is the game/anime's cow and source of milk, and it's been said Krabby can be eaten.

I remember that show, I have some of the episodes on VHS. I still have Pokemon Blue version (I had Gold version but I lost it). Remember Pokemon the First Movie? It seems like the darkest of the major movies made if you kinda think about it.

Dear me, that's another sad loss we've had in the past week or two. Pity, considering she was only 48.

I couldn't quite believe it at first. I only first heard the news via a tribute picture on DeviantArt.
It's a shame, because Meowth was one of my favourite Pokemon, and I'm positive she helped towards that.
