I have always enjoyed Futurama, and I really hope that they do make a sixth series.
Perhaps the one factor I really like was it's unique take on robots. Here, robots have become so 'human' that even though they are built, they are effectively a people/species/etc.
I mean, look at the Tiny Tim bot: someone in the year 3000 purposely made a robot with a short leg and a crutch for an arm. That's taking sentient robots to the extreme.

I just wanted to say that the newest season of Futurama was quite good. I was surprised that it felt pretty much just like classic seasons, like nothing has changed.

I've seen it too, and whilst it is quality and good for Hulu, I disagree with the need for such a revival. The original ending of the universe of Futurama being reset felt like a proper and unique conclusion to an adult animated show, and that's more than most Adult oriented cartoons that ended can say.

With something like King of the Hill I'm happy to put a bow on it, but even that show went past its intended ending and we still got some great eps after. In a nutshell I'm more than fine with it carrying on so long as there's life left in it, but with such a hiatus must admit didn't (personally) feel the writers had been mulling on enough solid ideas which doesn't bode too well for the next ten Hulus on the go, but hey fingers crossed.
