Has anyone seen this show called The Boondocks? I haven't, but I know that the main characters are called the Freemans not the Boondocks. So why is the show called the Boondocks?

it's based off the comic series. I've seen it. It's been hot and cold. Some episodes are pretty good, while some I don't overly like.

The Boondocks is a term for the ghetto/streets, etc. that Riley and Huey used to live in, hence the title name. It's a great show and even though it tends to stray far from it's comic counterpart, it make you think. I've been missing them new ATHF eps badly....

I recognised The Boondocks from the comic strip when I first saw it advertised. I only saw one episode, but it had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe for about five minutes. I'm not normally the type to be amused by "ghetto humour" (for lack of a better term), but the episode I saw was both hilarious and thought-provoking. Plus, the animation is great - smooth and glossy like anime.

Don't have Adult Swin over here in GB, but just now a friend of mine's sent me an episode of 'Robot Chicken' which looked funny...

I believe they used to show Adult Swim over here on Toonami (back when it was CNX) late at night. I seem to remember Big O being part of it, and probably being the best show on there, even if I didn't catch it very often.

They did? I always watched Outlaw Star on CNX and Toonami. Now it's gone, I have to do with Beyblade, Pokemon, Teen Titans and Dragonball Z.

Yeah, CNX was decent. I really loved ATHF, Brak Show and Harvey Birdman: AAL. *begins sulking* It was just funny seeing your old favourites in completely different situations.

I used to watch this near the end of 2005. Then when I stopped watching when it was turning me into a bully. It was EVIL for it to have an extra 30 minutes. Why did they do that? Don't adult have enought programs for themselves? I think kid programs should have more hours for itself. Why did the rudders Kids WB stopped showing on Monays through Fridays? That was also spoiled and evil.

Why did the rudders Kids WB stopped showing on Monays through Fridays? That was also spoiled and evil. That was due to a station merger I think (WB with, I think, FOX). Just Google for more details.... though I agree WB stopping the cartoons was evil.

Hmm, we don't have the Cartoon Network where I'm at, we have somthing called the detour I've already downloaded every Boondocks ep so far, so I'm almost done with this series. I mainly watch Family Guy and Futurama, and if I did have Adult Swim, i'd probablly watch a few eps of Boondocks and Aqua teen hunger force:P

I watch AS,but it's not as funny as it used to be. I enjoy,The Boondocks,Futurama,Family Guy,and Robot Chicken, but now it's not as appealing with Saul of the Mole Men,Frisky DIngo,Tim and Eric,12 oz mouse and etc.

IMO the only show worth watching on Adult Swim is Family Guy. I find all the others uninteresting and just dumb.

I think the last thing I watched on Adult Swim was Shin Chan. Is that still on?

I use to watch these shows ever since I was like 9-12 years old: Aqua Teen Hunger Force Baby Blues The Brak Show Cowboy Bebob Detective Conan Family Guy Fooly Cooly Futurama Home Movies Inuyasha Sealab 2021 Space Ghost: Coast to Coast
So it turned out that I can't watch AS during my teen era (which is that I'm still a teenager right now), but at least I'll maybe watch them again until I'm 18, hopefully. Otherwise I'll wait till 2013 when I turn 21.

Bravo shows Adult Swim over here. Unfortunately they only show the crappy 15-minute shows: No Family Guy, no anime, no Home Movies.
Fortunately there are three bright lights in the Bravo tunnel of darkness. Space Ghost: C2C is absolutely fantastic, especially if you've seen the old Hanna-Barbera cartoon before you start. Metalocalypse has its moments - never really found jokes about metal or constant unrealistic violence funny, but somehow Metalocalypse makes me chuckle. The only other show *was* The Brak Show, but it's stopped showing that now.
I end with a great Space Ghost quote: "I dreamt I grew a beard of hamburger last night, and I shaved it off and ate it."

Well back in 2004, these anime programs use to be aired on AS, so I believe Inuyasha is now scheduled to 4:00-5:00AM central. And I don't think it'll l be cancelled for a while. Hopefully... because I do like that show more than any of my favorite anime, well only up to Season 2 I only like.
