My new favourite movie is Quest For Camelot by Warner Bros. It was a really decent movie. I reccomend it to everyone. Mostly everyone.

I just got back from seeing "Cars".
It was pretty good, although I didn't recognise George Carlin. My favourite bit was the tractor tipping scene! ;D

I'm thinking of seeing Cars at some point as it looks really good plus I like the way Pixar have done the characters espically the Brown Tow-Truck.
In the last week I have watched Thomas & The Magic Railroad, The Crow, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (my most favourite movie) & Monty Python & The Holy Grail. I have watched these movies many times before but still like them everytime I see them.

Watched "It Came From Beneath The Sea" recently. One of Harryhausen's finest monsters, and the movie is quite good considering the amount of giant-monsters-made-giant-due-to-radioactivity-run-amok movie released within the same timespan. Highly recommended to all you cheesy giant monster B-movie fans.

I saw 'Cars' on Friday and it was deffinatly better than 'The Incredables' which I thought lacked something. Yes, best Pixar film since 'Finding Nemo'.

I saw Pirates of the Caribeean 2, it was alright to my liking. I ecspecially took a liking to Keria Knightley in this one. The Coral guys were awsome too, how their bodies merge with the sea.

Silver Surfer? Does that mean they're going for the Galactus Trilogy already? Huh...I would have thought they'd have saved that for a third movie. Galactus has been confirmed.

I don't wanna say it, but I would like it if the new movie How to eat fried worms causes a box office bomb and it is a colmplete faliure. Please criticise this movie.

The book is far from fabulous, but this thread is the movie thread, not the "Bash How to Eat Fried Worms Thread". Anyhoo, has anyone seen "Superman Returns"? If so, was it any good?

I've seen it. It was OK. I haven't seen any of the other Superman films. Kevin Spacey was entertaining. This film features the same actor who played Cyclops from the X-Men movies and I prefered Superman Returns over X-Men 3. (Him doing Superman was the reason Cyclops had a small role in X-Men 3).
Anyone looking forward to "Flushed away"? It's a must for Wallace and Gromit fans.

I saw the worst film ever last night. Just My Luck with Lindsay Lohan and Christopher Pine. The acting isn't bad, IMO, but the storyline is awful. The plus sides = Lohan looks hott, and McFly (whose song I'LL BE OK is heard in the Buzz, Buzz redub) is introduced!

Eh... for me McFly would be a downside, I'm afraid Anyway, today I saw a great Buster Keaton film, The General. I'd rate it as one of the best silent comedies I've ever seen. It holds together really well as a feature film (rather than a short, which is all I'd seen of silent films before this), plus as it revolved heavily around trains, it was all the more enjoyable for me. Here's a Beatles music video someone's made, featuring clips from the film:

A couple of weeks ago, I had FINALLY managed to watch 'Bagi: the Monster of Mighty Nature' (by Osamu Tezuka, the guy who did Astro Boy and Kimba) during a pretty depressing night. The film was so good, I didn't say a peep until the next morning!

They're filming "Hairspray" around the corner from my house. I just walked through the set, and they've altered quite a few storefronts to look like early 1960's Baltimore. John Travolta, Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes and others are going to be acting right around the corner. Jeez, I wish my camera was working right now! And also: I don't wanna say it, but I would like it if the new movie How to eat fried worms causes a box office bomb and it is a colmplete faliure. Please criticise this movie. ROFLMAO!!! Why?!!

First there was a prequel to Dumb and Dumber, then there was Son of the mask now there's going to be another Ace Ventura film and I reckon by the synopsis it'll be called Ace Ventura's son pet detective. Why this film is being made I don't know. Both Dumb and Dumber prequel and Son of the mask were both flops. Son of the mask won loads of razzies. I reckon this new Ace Ventura film will be a flop. I can't see Jim Carey doing it as I've read somewhere he doesn't like playing the same character twice. www.imdb.com/title/tt0844029/

IMO, Dumb and Dumberer was hilarious. Why did it flop?

Probably because it had neither of the stars of the original, there was no demand for a prequel detailing how the characters met, and the script was too crude for most peoples' tastes.

Maybe, but the movie was funny, and the actors did look like the originals. Surely there are movies worse than this (Home Alone 4)
