For all you Xbox gamers out there, you're probably well aware of the Indie games section. For those of you who don't own an Xbox, the indie games section contain games made by the community. All of which are fairly cheap, fairly simple and mostly contain zombie games, badly made Minecraft clones and adventure games which feature pictures of scantily clad anime women (not that I'm complaining about the anime women, of course).
However, there is also a train simulator. One of only two train simulators I have seen on the Xbox 360. The game is called Train Frontier Express. It costs 240 Microsoft points and I can tell you that it is one of the best games on the Xbox marketplace.
You are given a blank canvas of a map, surrounded by mountains and covered here and there with pine trees. It is here you can build your very own railway. Tunnel through mountains, create lakes, build your own city - it's all there! The graphics may remind you a little of Team Fortress 2, or at least they reminded me of it when I first started playing the game.
It's user friendly and simple to get the hang of. There is an ever-expanding roster of locomotives and rolling stock to choose from, including Deltics and A1 Pacifics, carriages and trucks aplenty and there's even an online multiplayer mode, so you can play with other people to create the ultimate railway!
I love this game. It is fantastic! I think it's one of the only train simulators where you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to drive different trains (I know how much they charge for DLC on TS2013 and I ain't too pleased about it)! It's very relaxing as well, being able to build a scenic route through mountains, forests and towns and then just being able to view the carriage interior as you ride around your little world. The engines are great too, with American and British locos both looking fantastic as they pelt around your layout.

So, if anybody has heard of this game, hasn't heard of this game or wants to say "There's already a thread about this, DarkStig, you silly English type!", go ahead and discuss it all here!
