I've noticed something. When I'm in my bed at night, I see sillouettes in my window. Of people.
They move around alot. Last night it was horrible. People kept going back and forth. Kind of like a party.
Nobody was outside at the time.

I used to see them and screamed like mad so I've slept with the curtains open since, they've never dared come back/.

My entire area is built on top of an old wartime graveyard. Natrually, I've seen a few things, but mostly the odd shadow or non-exsitant man in the door.

The Model T could come in any color you wanted, so long as it was black. The reason was because black paint was the quickest to dry.

Here's an odd thing. I often have these feelings as if what I'm doin' at the moment is something that already happened. Like I open a text book, the person next to me is facin' back and I'm lookin' at the floor. A week later, I open the same text book to the same page in the same manner, the person next to me actually looks back the same way he did last week and I'm lookin' at the floor feelin' as though this already happened. Wierd eh? This ain't the first time it's happened to me I might add, but it's the most recent one that's happened to me.

What your experiencing, Driveus, is called dejá vu. It's exactly like you described, and I don't think anyone really knows what causes it. But here's something really weird that happened to me. I just happened to wake up at around 5:30 in the morning a week ago or so. I could see out the window that it was cloudy and gray and somewhat depressing. I'm fairly certain it was drizzling, but the window was closed so I couldn't see it. I was trying to get back to sleep, when all of a sudden, it happened. I hear a sound that sounds like an explosion, but I immediately realize that it is the LOUDEST thunderclap I've ever heard. I nearly had a heart attack, it scared me so badly. But here's the weird part, I heard thunder, but I couldn't see any lightening! It really came out of no where, does anybody have any idea of what could have happened?

Thanks for clearin' that up for me SRapi.
Are you sure that somethin' that could've fallen didn't make that noise?

It's exactly like you described, and I don't think anyone really knows what causes it. There are a couple of theories about what causes deja vu. One is that the message gets blocked while trying to get to the brain so it finds another route. While it does that though the original route unblocks itself and your brain receives the message twice really quickly, making it feel like you've lived a situation twice. I often get deja vu, although mine comes in the form of dreams. I see the event weeks or even months before it actually happens with the detail perfect; the room, the people, the sounds, the smells, the sounds/works spoken, etc being exactly the same. And I mean EXACTLY. After you experience it for a while it just becomes annoying...

Thanks for clearin' that up for me SRapi. Are you sure that somethin' that could've fallen didn't make that noise? Naw, the way it echoed... it was definitely thunder. I remember when I was younger, I first started experiencing deja vu in elementary school, and I thought I could predict the future. And that's a very interesting theory, Green Arrow. Pretty odd about the perfectly-predicting dreams.

Pretty odd about the perfectly-predicting dreams. It's a pretty interesting phenomena, mainly because no-one has come up with a solid explaination for it (well, a solid scientific reason lol). Mind you, the double-message theory only covers instantanious deja vu; it can't explain the phenomena I experience. In fact I experienced it again just the other night! I was at a mate's 21st birthday party and, for about 3 seconds, I had already seen everything. The people, the place, the costumes (it was fancy dress), the lighting, the music. All I could do was shrug my shoulders and mutter "Huh, deja vu!" The only thing about it is that I have no control over it. I simply see random things that have nothing to do with anything; simply "flashes" of a situation. If only I could find a way to exploit it I'd have won the lottery by now! ;D Lol

Kinda random and sorta silly but could it be reincarnation. I must be nuts, but it could be possible. In your previous life (if you ever had one that is) you might've done the same thing at somewhat the same time and you feel that it's all the same.
As for SRapi's thunder clap I think it is thunder. If there's a thing as a flash flood there might as well be a flash thunder. Though, comin' from the nut who thinks dejavu is involved with reincarnation... don't bet on it.

I remember 1 thing that happened to me when I was about, 7 maybe.
There is this small pendulum clock on the wall in my kitchen. It never stops without fail. One night, I was alone eating my dinner in the kitchen. I always used to have it in the kitchen when I was younger, and wasn't allowed to eat it in the living room, and often I ate slowly.
While eating away, I looked at the clock, and thought, huh, wouldn't it be odd if it stopped right now? I stared at the clock for about the minute, and the bizarrest thing happened. It actually stopped. One of the most paranormal events in my life. Other than perhaps 2 other instances.
Weird, huh?
Nicholas.

Here's something that's been going on in my area for the past week or so. www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,399803,00.html Basically, this...for lack of a better word, "thing" washed ashore on the beach. It appears to be a conglomerate of several animals, but no one really knows for sure. Some people are saying that the pictures are fake, but others are swearing that they've seen it first hand. Weird, huh?

Yeah, I think in Manhattan there's a law against shooting at rabbits while riding a streetcar, only they are no more streetcars, no more guns, and no more rabbits, and it would take more trouble to actually repeal the law than to just disregard it as it's no longer possible to break.
EDIT:
Also, I live near on Long Island quite near Montauk, and while walking through the forest beyond the paths, I've found severely decomposing animal carcasses like raccoons and possums that look quite like the "Montauk monster", right down to the "beak", as in the partially denuded skull.
As far as there being a "coverup" or that one of the photos are doctored to look "more normal", I just know this from personal experience, lighting and angles can radically change the apparent features or properties of a subject.

Some of you may have heard about this, but for those who don't - you were bound to sooner or later so you might as well discover it here. Meet Sir Nils Olav, Colonel-in-Chief of the King's Guard regiment of the Norwegian Army. Sir Nils' has enjoyed an illustrious military career and was knighted today in a ceremony at Edinburgh Zoo. Apparently he recognises the uniforms of his men and always takes his time inspecting them, as in the photograph above. Sir Nils Olav, I salute you.
