Essentially, I know what my character will look like, yet I would like a story for him. Here are his so-called words:
Hello there, I suppose you may be wondering who I am. My name is Sampson Kendall. I’m autistic and I come from a little suburbian town called Foston Ridge. I hate it when things get out of the norm for me and my schedule, and I hate it when people pressure me to do multiple things at once. My likes are things with lots of color, non-intense but engaging movies and TV shows, lots of positive choices, and soft surfaces. Essentially I like soft surfaces because when they are pressured against my body, it calms me down. It may sound fictional, but it’s only because it is. I’m a made up character that is already developed, yet need a good story to start me off. What I’m saying is that I think there needs to be a new variety of user-made TV on the web, compared to a bunch of review shows, product tests, parodies, and clips of dancing animals. That where you come in. I want you to write a story with me included, especially all the details about my character. Then, following these rules, you can include any sort of characters or plot you want:
1. Must be good for the entire family.
2. Must be 18 years or older.
3. Must not be too violent.
4. Must have good jokes, excluding body humor, pop culture references, and double entendres.
5. Must have charm and wit.
Once your story is written, send it to warofprogramming@gmail.com, as an attachment or inside the email, and who knows, your story can be chosen for the pilot of a web TV show I’m going to be in. You can also make up a name for the show, something that fits. I want to make sure that this show can be good. If for any chance none of you are chosen, your ideas can be included in one of the episodes. Submit your ideas and creativity, and if you are chosen, you’ll get a email response saying just that. I’m counting on you, Internet. I’m Sampson Kendall, and this is my challenge.
