Go ahead! Attempt to claim your superiority over the prevous member and show off your apparently undisputable knowledge concerning the Thomas and Friends brand in an attempt to show that you are indeed the Number One Thomas Fan. You can be silly, try your hand at lying, cheating, shooting down the previous poster's argument as to why they're the number one fan, or even actually give us a good reason. Try your best your best to win, and good luck! MwhahahaHA! OK, to start us off; I created this thread and am the first to claim the title, therefore I claim that I am the Number One Thomas Fan! Beat that.

Well, if you claim to be the number one fan, I'll take that title from you. I've just spent the past few hours building up a model of Peter Sam, so yeah. I've got it now

I've spent an entire three days trying to find the engine Thomas is based from. ...I know everyone knows, but I didn't know they knew. Still. I AM THE NUMBER ONE THOMAS FAN.

I'd break one of my arms if it meant I could own a volume of the Railway Series. I'm the number one fan!

Well I own season 8 on DVD and have watched it 5 time in 1 day! Every Thomas fan knows that this is the best season ever and it was Awdry's favourite, therefore I'm the number 1 Thomas fan! Oh wait.

You may hardly know anything, but I was the one to adapt two nntelevised Books by Christopher Awdry: James and the Diesel Engines & Gordon the High-Speed Engine.
So that makes me the number 1 Thomas fan because I was the first person to adapt all four stories from two Railway Series books by Christopher Awdry which lost out in the TV Series.
Therefore, I win!

So, I single-handedly decided to revive this 13 year old thread. I would call myself the winner then.

I've almost got every US DVD (at least for the model series, not counting DVD Packs). I also have a couple of DVDs from other regions, including the only one with Season 7 songs from the UK. And to top it all off, I have a HUGE Thomas collection. I'm talking Take Along, Take n Play, Trackmaster, Minis, etc.
I'm pretty sure that's enough to call me a winner. The Number One Thomas Fan, if you will.

I'll have you all know that I just finished watching Henry's Forest and only cried for 20 minutes.

20, eh? I only cried for 10 minutes. Your efforts are meaningless.

You seriously think you’re the No. 1 Thomas fan? I have all Wilbert Awdry’s RWS books and all the TV series on DVD up to Series 11, plus a few CGI ones. I’ve driven Stepney on the Ffarquhar layout, met the daughter of Wilbert Awdry, and got inside the replicated study at the Talyllyn Railway… so I am the best Thomas fan round here! and yes… this is all true.

Oh, and I sort of forgot to say I drove Jim on the Mid Sodor layout...
