So Edward's Station. You've taken over, 'ey? Aw well, I don't mind. Always wanted to ask a trio of engines questions. Hello. I'm talking to Gordon, Henry, and James right now, correct? If so, I have a question for each seperate engine. Gordon, in the TV Series, why are you always a pompous jerk even after you learn to not be a pompous jerk in an episode? Henry, what are your thoughts on the "Special Coal" incident (Miller making you use it in Seasons 8-16)? James, what if I told you that Percy thought you were gay?

Well, this is an interesting idea. Having three bickering engines answer questions at the same time. (Better edit in Emily's farewell first, though...)
Alright, considering I've had my spotlight taken away so very abruptly* from me, I believe it's only fair and just that I ask the three of you some questions before I go off to Black Loch (∪ ◡ ∪) Well, I've only got one. I'll think of more later. But for now: Where do the three of you stand, anyway? You all seem to be amicable and pleasant for one minute and then go back to hating each other the next! It's confusing, honestly. At least try to make up your minds! (⋋▂⋌) Or am I under the false impression that you three are actually friends to begin with? And, hmm... I suppose I can take the liberty of answering your silly chatters before I leave**. That would be the polite thing to do, now wouldn't it? (¬_¬) James here, what do you think about my paint? Sigh. I'm only gonna say this once, so listen and listen hard. Your coat of paint is, as much as I hate to admit it, very lovely. It fits you perfectly, and I can't imagine you ever being any other color. You are, to my knowledge, the only main line engine to be painted red. That's certainly something to talk about. And that, just then, is the honest truth. Now, if I were to answer that question under any other circumstance I'd say that red -- your particular shade of red, in fact -- is the "tackiest, most garish color an engine could have, and it says a lot that I'd rather stare at your color all year long instead of putting up with your attitude for a day!" But then I'd be lying. And you wouldn't like that, would you? (◕‿-) Oh, and... don't you dare quote me on this later, James! Shh James! What did you think of my trick the other night? What trick? Oh, you don't mean that, do you? No, I can say with full and absolute confidence that I am completely over getting stuck overnight again in Knapford sheds with Murdoch and a cat. Absolutely. I'm not having flashbacks right now, thank you very much! (╯へ╰) By the way, who is the fastest engine on Sodor? The obvious answer would be... you, Gordon. But I'm sure all of us knows that already; I don't know why you're asking me to tell you something you're already perfectly aware of! Either way, I don't think neither us nor him would like to acknowledge Spencer as being a permanent Sodor residence. In any case, even if you weren't the fastest engine on Sodor, I'm sure you'd still do a wonderful job at pulling the Express. Which, of course, you are. And do (⌒-⌒; ) Cheers, Emily (✿◠‿◠)
*this comment is directed at the Tender Trio, not you. *she is leaving, isn't she? Emily'd probably stick around for a while, in any case. hope you don't mind that! •‿•

Henry, what are your thoughts on the "Special Coal" incident (Miller making you use it in Seasons 8-16)? James, what if I told you that Percy thought you were gay? I didn't mean to take over but I will. What I did was portray it as if the Tender Trio were asking Emily and they could each hear each other. Here I go: Gordon: Why am I a pompous jerk in the TV series... James: Because you are? Gordon: Shut it, James! On that question, ask Sharron Miller not me. Henry: Special coal incident, like Gordon said ask Miller. I didn't mind having to use the coal for her, as any engine knows Welsh coal is better than the cheap stuff they usually use. James: Percy said that??? Gordon: Disgraceful James: Disgusting Henry: Despicable James: He will be hearing about "Percy's Captain Crunch" Tonight! Henry: That's "Chocolate Crunch, James. James: That and Plunges, Predicaments, and Signals! Gordon: Anyone else have questions? EDIT: Gordon: We started too early bot took too long and had to come back to you, Emily. James: Are we friends... Henry: Of course we are, it's just some personalities naturally conflict. Cough James Cough! James: What??? Henry: Did I say your name? James: If anything its you and Gordon. Gordon: Here we go again... The Fat Controller: SILENCE! (The Fat Controller wishes to have no questions asked to him) Gordon: Now that were back on track, anyone else have questions? EDIT: James: Emily could you stop having your Driver edit your post. Henry: Our Drivers Know less about computers than we do. James: And my Fireman is the only person who knows about computers but he is too dirty to touch the thing. Gordon: James's Fireman has been yelling at our Drivers trying to tell them what to do but they RRnt listening. Henry: Driver, aren't is spelled A-R-E-N' -T not R-R-n-t! Gordon: Anyone ELSE have questions? edwardsstation: Lua I am not mad about your post editing, it just made for a good plot.

Gordon, what would you do if you were painted red?
Henry, your thoughts on the issue of special coal are understandable. Now, why do you, Gordon, and James say your drivers and firemen have bad computer skills?
Jams, what if I told you that Thomas went on a date with Emily last night?

Oops. Sorry for second-guessing myself so much (._.) Well, that just proves how superior my crew are in terms of tech knowledge, I suppose. Ahem. Anyway, I've got another question for the lot of you: In the hypothetical scenario that each of you were born as humans, what kind of lives would you lead? I'm partial to the idea of James taking pictures (not of himself) for a living. This is purely for archival purposes, before you start asking odd questions. 'til next time, Emily EDIT: What Christopher Bouchard said was entirely untrue; a fabrication pulled out of thin air! I'd just like to clarify that for you, James, even though in hindsight I doubt you'd care even if it were true. I was, uh, off pulling a late passenger train last night. Definitely couldn't squeeze time for frivolous activities like that! (>д< ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

James: You would feel very important! Gordon: Red is a garish color unfit for an engine of my importance. James: So I'm more important than you? Gordon: Of course not, Red is too garish to be important. Henry: So in other words Gordon, red is for an engine who "thinks" he is important. James: ON TO THE NEXT QUESTION!
James: Thomas and Emily on a date??? Henry: Emily Says that isn't true. James: Either way I'm sure that I could tell the trucks that in exchange for a week free of trouble!
Henry: About the tech problem our drivers aren't very good at using computers. James's fireman knows how but is too dirty to do it himself so he tells the drivers what to do.

Gordon: I figure I am important enough to bump a post without problems. Not like those two could do it.
James & Henry: Hey!!
James: Anyway we're waiting!
Henry: That was my line James! I will repeat that, we're waiting.

Everyone, do you consider yourselves to be like the big three from top gear UK? If so who?
Gordon, what was your favorite experience pulling the express and why?
Henry, what made you start to appreciate the forest?
James, what do you think about bachmann redoing your model?

Gordon, Henry & James... I have a question for each of you:
Gordon - do you miss running on the East Coast Mainline from London to Edinburugh, or are you quite content on Sodor at the moment?
Henry - do you still go to the Forest every so often?
And James - if you spent a whole day pulling coal trucks, how many times would you visit the Washdown?

And what is your favorite job?

I think they're all Really Useful Engines, and without them, the branch line wouldn't have lasted very long.
I like taking stones to and from the quarry, athough ocassionally I am available for many other tasks.

So, are we doing Toby or Skarloey?
For Toby: Where exactly is your old tramway? Do you miss it? What is your opinion of your portrayal in the TVS?
For Skarloey: Aside from Rheneas, which Skarloey Railway engine do you get on best with?

Hmmm... it seems this thread hasn't been touched in months. What engines are available to ask questions too?

Ah yes, afraid this one isn't as much a story of enthrallment as the others I planned, ah well, onwards I guess.
Anyway, I had originally worked at a quarry (as you know) before coming here. When it closed, I was presumed scrapped by the few who even knew of me (as our quarry was quite isolated) due to a mixup in the paperwork. Alas I was another of this islands George England tanks lost in the winds, but I did not dispair, I sang aloud my favorotte songs from the radio my driver used to own every night. This not only kept my spirits up, but also gave any visitors a nasty fright! Many presumed it was me singing from the afterlife, but it wasn't some lost soal, but a living engine tucked away in a far part of the quarry. Eventually some brave young men followed my singing and when they discovered me, promiced to restore me! I began to sing loudly and with glee as they removed me from that shed, when we saw an old tram rounding the bend, looking white as a sheet! The rest, as they say, is history!

Honestly Mike, I'm not too sure. I know we now have that Samson fellow, and he's quite nice, (if a bit boastful!) so I'd like to work with him. I also wouldn't mind working up at blue mountain like I do whenever there's no filming going on. However I do remember seeing an internet series 'Enterprising Engines' or something like that on my drivers phone. We all ended up doing a Shakespeare! It was glorious! I do hope we may partake in something similar if I do return. As for the actual return part, maybe have me and duke visit the earl. Would be appropriate knowing us and our certain qualities!
