This TV series was introduced in 1987 and the stars of the show were, as they are now, Paul and Barry Chuckle who were originally from Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Paul and Barry were a hapless duo who would set up new ventures and carry out odd jobs but with disasterous consequences (!) hence such catchphrases as "Oh, dear! Oh, dear!" and "No slacking!". On the other hand, Paul and Barry 'never grew up' in the sense that their 1980s hair-do's are still there.

Ooh I have loved Chucklevision and the Brothers since I was 4 years old, and I still do today. They are still on TV with 19 Series for over 20 years! What an amazing acheivement.
I met them in two of their live stage shows, got their autographs, their both great.
I do know that 'Chris' here will certainley love to talk about one of his most favourite shows.

I can do better than that!
My sister dances ha dance lessons at the Debonaire Dance Academy near Cradley Heath, West Midlands. Anyway, the owner and main dance teacher, Debbie Baggot, is he daughter of none other than Jimmy Patton!. I'm not lying or joking, she seriously is. My sister has even danced in one of their shows at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre during this year's tour (which I see every year and have done for the last 5-6 years).
How about that then!

So far as we know their was only one Chucklevision video called Goofy Golfers released on VHS in the mid 1990's, 2007-2008 brought us some live stage shows including one recorded in 1995 called Chucklebrothers in Trouble,
But now, strongly requested by Chuckle fans everywhere, not one, but TWO Chucklevision Series 1 DVD's are on the way from September this year!

I notice that this is a rather popular thread. In which case...
Can't say I was into Chucklevision itself all that much but I've heard of the Chuckle Brothers alright! In fact, now that I've seen examples of them in action on YouTube, I'm beginning to wonder why To Me To You was the only show featuring them that I was ever really in to.
But, yes, they're a pair of legends! Two shows of their own on television and having, if I'm right in thinking, appeared in quite a few pantos over the years. Wonder if they still do...

I am a big fan of Chucklevision. I enjoyed seeing the older episodes on Youtube. I paticualy liked the series where the brothers lived in a caravan and the mill. It's a shame they're being taken down.
I might get series 1 of Chucklevision on DVD but it's not the same format as the others. It's more of a comedic Blue Peter. I hope series 3 onwards does get released on DVD.
I also saw the brothers after I saw on of their pantos they were doing. I waited to get their autograph. Barry thanked me for coming to see the show.

I wasn't aware of this series until I got into the Thomas fandom in the late 2000s through parody mashups, though I never watched until recently after watching the odd clip on YouTube. It's quite funny, though it may take a while to get into the whole series.
