So I've recently been watching Dad's Army: The Animations, the animated remakes of Lost Episodes of Dad's Army complete with original audio recordings on a number of them (some also taken from the radio episodes which didn't feature James Beck or Ian Lavender), and I must say that I'm rather enjoying them.
Its nice to hear voices of the old cast dubbed to an animation format. The animations I feel are drawn in a reminiscent way to the 1976 to 1980 series of Paddington (just of course without the stop motion puppet), but the only snag is that they're of course in black and white just as those early episodes of Dad's Army were aired.
So far we've had the three episodes that were part of the 2019 remake, and next is a Christmas Special which I can only assume is the Cornish Floral Dance sketch. So it'll be interesting to see how that turns out, since I and probably many others have only seen the just audio with stills of the set from The Christmas Specials DVD release.
