Darn, George, I'm a bit split, here. On one hand, Roads have brought us such joyous things as... While there's plenty of speed on the Rails, too... Hmm, that man Jeremy Clarkson is a true hero. He'd flatten all of Sodor's railways to make roads. I like him

Your all talk George, if you couldn't outrun Sir Handel, who had a full train, what makes you think you can beat a standard-guage engine?

Hmm, that man Jeremy Clarkson is a true hero. He'd flatten all of Sodor's railways to make roads. I like him Yes, you say that, when in his book: I know you have Soul, Clarkson sang praise to Flying Scotman! And in another book by Clarkson, Born to be Riled, he dedicated part of the book to express his up most hatred of Buses. Not only that, if Clarkson were to take over Sodor and destroy the railways and turn them into roads, the next thing he would do is to do away with you and your other pro-road allies (plus caravans), as you'll slow him down when he is driving. Any road-going vechicle that is unable to drive at at least 100mphs will be scrapped.

I don't know, George, I'd say more people are in favor of rails. Looks like you are going out of business soon, railways seem to be dominant right now.

If George will soon be out of business, I know a certain person who needs a steamroller in order to compete in some annual steamroller race. So, if George's interested...

Actually, Clarkson isn't really against railways as such. He has spoken of the Great Western Railway in quite glowing terms in the past. He positively idolises Brunel, George. And on one occasion, he shouted excitedly while having a car - yes, a road vehicle - smashed to pieces by a railway engine. Now what do you think of your precious St. Jeremy?

I love my car and I love driving. I love the quiet and the freedom and that sense of personal space you get in your own car. But there is an indisputable romance to the railway, and despite the fact that cars are more practical and comfortable, come on, I had to vote rails and you know it.

In the United States, about 7 people die a year riding trains.
30,000 die in cars.
You tell me which is better.
