So, does anyone but me love speeding through futuristic space racetracks at over 1,000 mph against aliens, cyborgs and mutants?

Me, you won't believe how much I've played F-zero X, trying to beat the grand prix and temporarily flying to my death. Good times...

I hear ya. But exploding into a million pieces while doing a somersault off a halfpipe while crashing into the Black Bull is half the fun of any F-zero game. (Except the first, seeing how the Black Bull didn't exist >.>)

What's funny is driving the Iron Tiger off the level and hearing the pilot scream. I could've sworn Baba was a guy.

He is. I think he's supposed to be gay though. Just listen to his voice in GX.

Nothing will ever beat the original F-Zero. Nothing.

I used to play F-Zero on the Super Nintendo, it belonged to my late Uncle.
I loved that game, I miss playing alot as it's one of my childhood things I enjoyed. But with problems with the wires, is why I can't play it anymore which is a real shame.

That's ok Scrap Iron, Wii has it on VC.
Anyway what is this Nintendo week on this board? (EDIT: I just realized that a separate Video Games Board has been made lol) Lol I love F-zero though. Definitely one of the best racing games out there. And also one of the most hectic. GX...jeez I'm still baffled why it didn't make GCNs explode all over the world lol. Beautiful graphics, huge tracks, THIRTY highly detailed machines racing at amazingly fast speeds, and all the while being able to keep 60 frames per second. Fantastic.
I have yet to play F-Zero X, I'll get it when I'm through with the original. And God knows how much I'm waiting for the sick online potential that is F-Zero for Wii....

I remembered "F-Zero" before back when I was 3 when me and my mom used to go her friend's place sometimes and I remembered playing this racing game on his SNES system and it was fantastic! Then, later in 2006,my mom got "F-Zero" and "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends" on Ebay and they were still good to play as of right now.

I remember playing the F-Zero SNES game back in the '90s. A neighbor had it and I was able to give it a try. I never won a single race, but it was fun anyway.
