As a matter of fact I'd have expected there to be one, too. I'm surprised I didn't make one!! Anyway Lost is very good, and I'm actually managing to keep up with it, unlike some people i know. One of the biggest mistakes, here in the UK was moving it to SkyOne from channel 4. Nicholas

I'm pretty sure it was announced that Series 6 would be the end, with 16 in series 4-6, as opposed to the approximate 23 in series 1-3. Here is a very accurate and up to date Lost site I view frequently, which is very accurate and always has breaking news and concise on-set reports. This does, however contain A LOT of spoilers, so be warned. www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Main_PageNicholas.

I lost interest this year. The original mystery was chilling, and you felt compelled to try and find out what happened. The first two seasons (and parts of the third) were quite enjoyable. But not only is little revealed, but they've added so many new 'clues' and mysteries that no one can remember what the original was! That, and Charlie could've easily saved his life, but just chose to kill himself. That actor must've been desperate to get off the show!
Plus, when a show is moved to a later slot, it's a sign that a lot of other people share the same view.
Additionally, I'm sure there was a thread for this show somewhere on here; lets go exploring! 'grabs torch'
EDIT: Nope! Either its been deleted or I was thinking of SiF#1. Probably the latter. Aaah well.

Hehe I thought hardly anyone liked Lost on here to the continuous plot and unusual twists which gave its name. Actually I love it; I'm one of those who've seen it from the beginning back when it was on Channel 4 and it must be the compelling situtations like the island, 4 8 15 16 23 42, the smoke that killed Eko and the like that I find it attractive.
The current episodes are now showing future flashbacks and Michael has returned despite him killing one of my favourite characters. Presumably with all these mysteries and questions concerning the island I'm one of those who'd like to see the answers behind them all.

Yeah I heard this and was quite surprised as this Series is a lot shorter than the previous 3. I haven't seen last weeks episode but this weeks is the first of the finale 2 parter! Role on Series 5

Re: the previous thread, there was one at one point. I remember distinctly because I was the one who started it. It got about two responses, and was deleted soon afterwords. On the subject of Season 4... Is anyone else hoping that Keamy (the mercenary that Widmore sent to the Island) dies a horrible death in the finale? He certainly deserves it, after brutally murdering Alex like that.

I'm sure he probably will. Any guesses as to what that thing on his arm is? Nicholas I've been watching this show from the beginning and just noticed this thread. When I was watching the episode with the thing on his arm, I assumed it was an explosive of some sort. About the death thing I'd hope it would be by the smoke monster thing. Knowing LOST it'll be something so different from what we expect though. I may be the only one, but does anyone here not enjoy the flash forwards? They're good but I just don't really feel it fits in with the show, especially the thing like the court room cases and the such. (Hope I didn't spoil anything for anybody.)

Any guesses as to what that thing on his arm is? Some are speculating that it is some kind of device that will blow the explosives on the freighter if Keamy dies. Here's another Season 4 query: How the HELL does Locke intend to move the island? I mean, I know I'll find out in about 24 hours, but I'm still curious.

It probably has something to do with the Orchid, which is a new hatch, said to help explain several of the out-of-sync time issues the island has, as well as, possibly, some of its other properties, but I won't ruin it entirely for you.

Aren't we suppose to find out who is in the coffin in the episode? With all of the references to books and such in the series, has anyone taken the time to read them? I know there is a lot of references to Alice in Wonderland in here a lot, has anybody noticed any others?

Personally, I have seen the series 4 finale, and I must say it WAS very good. My personal favourites out of the finales would probably be: Series 1, (although I haven't seen it for a while, and we now know what was down the hatch, at the time I first saw it, it was truley brilliant. I just saw it whenever nothing else was on b4 this, but the finale really got me hooked) Series 2 (some people don't like it, but, for me, the hatch was just the best thing in Lost. Can't resist a countdown... . Desmond is also a very interesting character, and remains one of my personal favourites after Locke) Series 4 (quite close to the series 2 finale. The bit when the helicopter landed on the boat was truely epic, and the scenes with the Orchid were most intriguing. I do love a good old episode that gets all the emotions going. That's why I like some of the more emotional Doctor Who episodes more) Series 3 (although one of the best episode openings ever, with Jack leading the survivors off the beach [very impressive], this one isn't my favourite. The Looking Glass was Ok, but probably could have been more interesting, and Charlie's death was certainly one of the most memorable and tear-jerking, but the other finales seem to beat this one. The element of the flash-forwards being introduced was brilliant however, and there were some good shots, such as the one mentioned earlier, and the aerial shot of the radio tower upon it's discovery) I expect series 5 will commence in around February 2009. What do people expect from the series after the s4 finale. Will we focus on the people remaining on the Island? Or the people who made it off, although we've already seen most of what happened in flash-forwards. Perhaps both? Furthermore, will we pick up from where series 4 left off or from where the flash-forwards left us? And what will be the focus of Series 5? Series 1 - Plane Crash and Introduction to characters and key mysteries Series 2 - The Hatch Series 3 - The Others Series 4 - Their supposed rescuers/ Widmore or "The bad guys" Series 5 - Nicholas.
