I often find myself reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland at night, due to its delightful humor. It's probably come to the point now where I've read the book more times than I've seen any of the movie versions.

I would say the Hitchhiker novels by Douglas Adams. I've read all five of his more times than I can count and I recently got And Another Thing as a present last Christmas. Where I need to catch up is the radio series and I've only listened to The Hexagonal Phase in it's entirety.

*blows approximately two-and-a-half years of dust off thread
I've been reading The Secret Garden pretty much once a year. It's probably my favorite book at the moment. Every time I see a robin these days I start quoting the book or imagining it's gonna lead me to a garden.

Other than the RWS, the main books I soak up again and again are everything Tolkien. The entire Middle-Earth saga - The Hobbit, LotR, Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, Beren and Luthien, the list goes on. I read the main trilogy once a year, accompanied by an annual viewing of the extended editions of all 6 films (Hobbit and LotR).
It's almost a ritual at this point :/

Hiro is the best CGI character, and you can’t change my mind.

Rick Riordan’s The Heroes of Olympus. My copy of Book 3 is so beat up I’m surprised I haven’t had to tape it together. Just some amazing literature with fantastic characters. (Also, gotta give Inkwright mad props for The Giver, love that book.)
