I was walking through town today, saw a billboard for "Poseidon" and immediately thought "I have to see that!" ;D I never realised they were making yet another movie about the disaster, but as I've never seen the others, I'm going to make a point on seeing this when it's out.
Other films I'm looking forward to over the Summer are X-Men 3 (great review BTW, FlyingScotsman) and Spiderman 3.

Venom has been confirmed in an interview. FlyingScotsman, "DUDE WHO CAN MULTIPLY HIMSELF" I presume that's multiple man. I've seen an X men 3 PS2 game and for some strange reason Nightcrawler is in the game despite not appearing in the film. Alan Cumming is part of the game. X Men 3 would have been Cumming's 2nd best film he's ever done if he was in it. The only best he's done is X Men 2.

The Spiderman movies are great. Spiderman 2 is one of the few movies that I actually own. I can't wait for Spiderman 3. And if Venom's in it, that'll just make it even more awesome.

I wasn't too impressed with Spiderman 2. Only because Dr Octopus was less evil in this film. He was way more evil in the cartoon. In fact he was the leader of the insidious 6. I am glad Venom is in in the number 3. Sandman will also feature. You can find pics of him on the net. It's likely that Harry Osborn will be one of the villans but I don't know if they'll have him as Green Goblin again or change it to make him Hobgoblin. If Venom lives up to is expectations, I wouldn't mind if he gets his own movie. It would be better than "Catwomen". They could have Carnage appear as his enemy.
In X men 3, I've been told that theres a scene after the credits. Apparently it's worth seeing. Anyone seen the extra scene after the credits of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets? Out of everyone I know, I'm the only one who's seen it.

Sorry to Doublepost but I've seen X men 3. It's quite good. There's alot of action in this. some negative about it though. One, Brian Singer is a better director. This film does stray away from the comics abit. Singer seems to have done his homework when he directed the first 2. Wonder what this film would have been like if he was in charge.
Another negative is Cyclops isn't getting the amount of screen time he deserves (the 2nd one he doesn't get much time either) and he's supposed to be leader. His scene's in Last Stand are very rushed. Storm is too overated. Only becasue Halle Berry wanted a big part.
Onto the positives now, Vinny Jones was fantastic. He was brill for comic relief and the Pyro and Iceman fight was awsome. X men fans will not be dissapointed with this battle. I enjoyed Wolverine and Beast scenes. Kelsey Grammer was the great as Beast. I swear I saw Toad(from the first X-Men movie) in one scene. It's the one where you see the mutants at the church.
SPOILERS
As Flying Scotsman said there are plotholes and he's not wrong. What happened to Juggernaut? Is he dead or captured? The last you saw him, he was knocked out. Plus there are some characters's names that don't get mentioned.
Also If anyone has seen the scene after the credits, it turns out Professor X is still alive. How? If anyone has seen it can they send me a PM to explain please thanks.

Also, why wasn't Magneto arrested? Here we have the mutant equivalent of Osama Bin Laden, responsible for killing countless people, a hugely public figure, yet he's able to have a game of chess in the park without being arrested or lynched.

I just watched The Sound of Music on Monday and I just realised something. How would the Nazi guards know that Capt. von Trapp and the others would be at the abbey?

The Nazis must have realised that Maria was an ex-nun. Either that, or someone tipped them off...

If you: 1 -- Have been reading the Salmon Adventure; 2 -- Are interested in disaster films; 3 -- Are interested in pointless triva; 4 -- Live in the UK ...then The Poseidon Adventure was on TV today. I'm also going to see the remake this Wednesday, so I might be able to add references to it in a future chapter.

I've already seen Posiden. I enjoyed it. If you love adventure films, see it.

Disney's string of pointless sequels continues with the Fox and the Hound II. You can see the trailer here
More of a midquel actually as it looks like it's set in somewhere in the middle of the first film. I for one will be steering well clear if this comes to DVD in the UK.

My Favorite Disney Movie....Ruined by a Circus?
If this is based on When Copper was first brought to the woods and met Tod, how could he have time to go off to a neaby Fair and become part of some singing Dogs when his Master would have a go at him for just going into some nearby Woods?
The Two sound nothing like the Original Fox and Hound. Unless Humans can understand Dog Languge, whats the point in a Dog Band at a fair? Are they going to Charge Animals to come in as well to listen? Or are the Guests going to listen to them howl at the moon.
Yet again, a Disney Classic is having a Sequel that will totally ruin the Original. The Only exception being the Lion King, which has had two good sequels.
Favorite Movie being turned into something not so Classic, what were Disney thinking.

Now is it just me, or is that contradicting what we learnt from the original movie? (off topic sidenote: how did whoever taped it off the tv screen not end up with black lines going up and down on the screen?) I never did understand the Fox and The Hound. Well, I understood the beginning and middle, but I lost the plot around the end, and the only thing I could make sense of was that woman bandaging up the man's leg.

When you thought Disney had learnt to stop with the sequels...and this is just proper *insert word which begins with C*. A dog band...yeah... At least they still got the animation skills, I'll give them that. But its just...no...wrong. Just wrong. (I'm suprised if none of the young 'un's these days have seen or either heard of Fox and the Hound 1:P)
