Hello! Some of y'all probably recognize me :') I've been scarce for a good long while, mostly because of university, and personal obligations, but I'm not quite so busy anymore, and I'd love to get a little more active again.
I'm currently working on some new projects and resuming some old ones, so you might expect to see some of it soon!

Hello world, it's me. I'm going to be pretty busy for the next couple months or so, and I'll be having to drop out of SiF for a while.
Don't get me wrong, I'll still pop in to check things out now and then, and maybe a short post here or there, but don't expect any long epics of post from me for a while (well, save two that I know the Blog Moderators have been waiting on for quite some time now and will be pleased to see).
With that said, see you all in a few months!

I started a new job two days ago, and it has a very demanding schedule. As such I won't be on here every night (and when I am on, it will be during the afternoon), but I don't intend to vanish completely, I will check in as often as I can. It will also be much longer before any new Attica Falls Railroad stories appear.

Just to let everybody know, that from 14th September I shall be away for two weeks in Orlando. Yes, I know, they'd not long had Hurricane Irma down in Florida and I did have a possible threat that I wouldn't be able to go away because of it as I did get an email last week before Irma hit Florida.
However, I was informed that I would receive a follow-up Email if anything would affect my holiday and I haven't so I'm good to go. Of course I've been in a Hurricane once before, and not intention of going into another one, so hopefully all shall go well and be online again in two weeks.
UPDATE:
Just thought that I'd let you all know that I've been back home since around 11am, but touched down on UK soil around 8am as we were ahead of schedule (well so the Captain of my flight said). Even though Hurricane Irma did hit Orlando, she certainly didn't dampen my holiday too much or barely at all. Yes I'm feeling fairly tired, but I know that as usual I'll get back to where I often end-up after a holiday. But as for America and Orlando, the only renowned phrase I have to you is: I'll Be Back!

Wow, I can't believe it's been 11 years since I joined... and for the last 7 I've been too busy to be a regular contributor, unfortunately. It's a long, boring story, but it ends with me being able to work for myself full-time as an artist. I'm still busy (getting married in July!), but I'll have a bit more time to pop in and participate again.
Hope everyone has been doing well, and welcome to all newcomers who joined in my absence!

My parents and I have moved out of our house temporarily, as extensive repairs need to be done to the bathroom and utility room. I do not know how long this will be for - it could be three months or six, depending on the rate of the work. We'll try to establish an internet connection in our flat, but it could take a while yet. Until then, I will have limited internet access.

I'd recently been away from the 13th September, and as of today I'm officially back.
Forgive the lateness of this post since my absence has happened.

I've been gone from the forums for over a year now. In that time, I have moved to Los Angeles, gotten an apartment, and a job. I've been quite busy and overwhelmed with moving out of my parents' house and starting my real adult life, and had to put checking the forums on the back burner. Right now, I am back home visiting my parents on vacation for Hanukkah, and I figured it would be a good time to check in. I am hoping that in 2019, I will be able to have more time to check in on here and contribute. But for now, I'm just saying a quick hello to keep my account active and prove I'm not dead and say that I hope to be on here more often!

Due to renovations going on in our front room (where our computer is located), I will have limited access to the forums for a while. It could either be a few days or a few weeks.

Hello all, just to let you know if there’s a drop in activity from me, it’s due to power shutdowns in California’s Bay Area. Recent fire and strong wind activities is putting the state’s power provider on edge, so I’m without electricity for a bit and the internet satellites aren’t fairing well.

Thought I'd drop in again, after a slightly long absence. Now that Winter's around the corner, I might be back to my modelling ways, as well as try to pen a story for the ERS...
Anyway, nice to be back again after a good Summer!

Due to a what I believe to be a fault with our computer's desktop, I will have limited access to the forums until the fault can be rectified.
See you all when I get back.
Stuart.
EDIT: The repair man has identified the problem as being a faulty C Drive. It could take anything from a few days to a week to fix.

Just to clarify that from this Thursday until September 30th that I'll shall be away for a fortnight, so I'll unlikely be online during that period of time. And it'll also mean as a Brit that I'll unfortunately miss the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
EDIT:
Just to let everybody know that I've been back since Sunday afternoon, as I'd been forced to have a slight extensive time away due to Hurricane Ian which struck central Florida last week and I was amidst it.

Just to clarify that from this Thursday until September 29th, I shall be away for a fortnight. So like always I'll unlikely be online during that period of time - even though I've restricted myself to only coming online on Friday evenings and at Weekends (as well as on Bank Holidays if I'm not working then).
EDIT:
Just to clarify that I've been back since this past Friday.

It's been a while since I've posted here.
Basically, my laptop's been at the shop getting repaired since late July. It was supposed to have been an easy fix since all that was wrong with it was the DC-in port (AKA where I actually plug in the charger) stopped working and needed to be replaced and the keyboard needed to be replaced too (the 'd' key stopped working).
Naturally as you might guess, while the place I go to was able to get and replace the DC-in like a week after I dropped my laptop off (which was how long they said all the repairs would take), the keyboard was out of stock. Which is OK fair, that happens and it ain't their fault.
Then when it comes back in-stock a couple weeks later, they call me and let me know and then it turns out they sent the repair place the wrong model keyboard.
And literally no one has the keyboard they need in-stock, the last I heard they're just taking a different keyboard that physically should fit and rewiring it to work with my own laptop, presumably via soldering wires, because even the owner of the repair place is frustrated at this (I've used him for years, so he knows me).
Anyways I've been stuck using my tablet for these past few months, which I do at least have a BT keyboard attachment for so I haven't been stuck trying to type on the tablet screen - that'd be awful. But since I don't have access to any of my files on this tablet (including my Thomas-related stuff), yeah it's kinda easy to see why I haven't really been active.
