A few weeks ago I found my old stash of Pokemon cards, containing nearly complete sets of the Basic, Jungle, Fossil and Team Rocket sets. I wonder if it's worth anything... You could probably sell them on eBay for a nice chunk of change. Go to a pawn shop, though...

Note: This post is from a recently-locked thread. I'll raise my hand and take full responsibility for it as it was I who suggested its creation - not Tom. My bad Ok, I thought I would show something I have been working on, A Classic Doctor Who Tardis.
There is currently a FX Tardis which is based on the new series version, here it is
now the main difference with this Tardis is the sign on the door has a white/creme background where as the Classic Series Tardis had a DArk Blue Sign, so thanks to a fellow member of Doctor Who Forum who had made an accurate sign, I was able to print off a new sign. and here is my classic Tardis
next thing to change was the inside, the New Flight Control Toy Tardis has a picture of the New Series Console Room on the inside, thanks to another member on DWF I was able to add Digital picture of the Classic Tardis Console (Actually it's the Tom Baker/Peter Davison version, I have other print outs to represent the other Tardis console designs.
So here you can see the interior
and these last pics show the 4th and 5th Doctors enjoying their Tardis
and I have made a video on youtube if you want too see this too, also shows the Tardis Landing and Leaving
and some more of my general Doctor Who Collection Classic Doctor Who DVD selection, and all the missing adventures novels!
some Adipose....Awwwww
Blurred Sontarans
Commander Skorr
The Cult of Skaro
More coming soon!!! Love to hear your comments, and to see your collections!

Nice collection there, I'm feeling slightly enveious looking at those pictures! My Doctor Who collection isn't really as big as that, mainly due to money and storage. At first I wasn't interested in the action figures being released, but I have seen more and more coming out and part of me would like to own them!

Hmm, I have started collecting tri-ang bit's and bob's, and today I managed to get a shop display, showing a Jinty and a Princess side by side.
I'm building a layout using Tri-ang and Dublo parts, and I'd say it's becoming a collection.
I'll post a few pics soon.
I've also got a Hornby Thomas converted to 3-rail for it, but I use the chassis for other engines most of the time. (btw, the wheels are black)

Mostly my collections are of Thomas, but I am trying to start up some other collections.
I have all seven of the Harry Potter books, all five movies, five of the seven Tokyo Mew Mew Books and lots of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVDs, and this is the new series, I'm talking about here.

Transformers is about it for me. I've got around 100 in my room alone, not mention the many in storage.

I had a massive Star Wars colection, but that has become somewhat limited now, what I do display are these statues, I think they are awesome They are made by kotobukiya and are about 12inch tall. i also have a Thunerbirds/Geryy Anderson Collection, The Japanese stuff is amazing The Diecast Thunderbirds models are by Aoshima, my favourite being Zero X from the 1966 Movie 'Thunderbirds Are Go', The Large Thunderbird 2 is by Takara and features inside pod detail with removable panels, remove panels to see cab, remote control pod vehicles, and working telescopic legs. Why oh why are models not this good in this country!!! Finally you see some of the diecast stuff from UFO and Space 1999 When browsing through previous pages, I came across this and, Tom, I can only congratulate you over it! Those Thunderbirds models in particular - those must be practically all the pod vehicles ever manufactured for them, plus a TX204 Target Carrier in Duchess Assignment livery! As for me, well, one collection I do have which I'm particularly close to is a backlog of editions of STEAM RAILWAY Magazine, dating back to as early as 1997. In fact, I've got them all contained in a series of large crimson binders to further preserve their condition. That's about all I can think of for now - I'll let you know at a future date if there's any other collections hanging around at my end of the country.

Well... in terms of my collection, two of my biggest collections have been: - Star Wars
- Heavy Metal Music CDs
I used to love collection Star Wars Micro Machines when I was a kid, and I've still got a fair amount of them along with some new ones I won and brought from Ebay (I'll upload some pics when I get round to it). But I love collecting Heavy Metal Music CDs, since 2004 buying CDs of Metal music has really been my thing. I have a mass collection of various CDs from various bands including my top 5 favourite bands: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Fozzy, Rhapsody Of Fire and EPICA (I'll upload some pics when I get round to it). But I do sometimes download a song from any Band when I can't afford to buy the CD (well when your on Jobseekers allowance and struggling to find work, you always want to try and conserve the money you have for other things like courses and etc).

I had to stop my Hess truck collection when I hit 17 (trucks I mean, not age). It's probably for the best since they're just taking up room but there's always the nostalgia factor going. In addition to the coin collection I mention earlier, I had a comic collection. More specifically, Get Fuzzy, Calvin And Hobbes, and Garfied. Get Fuzzy stopped at 4 or 5 books when I realized I just didn't care for the comic anymore. Calvin & Hobbes stopped when I had basically every strip in my possession, whether that came in individual books or in treasury books for example. Garfield I consider on hiatus because I would love to continue the collection when I move out, but there's one catch that's getting to me: I have most of the Fat-Cat 3-packs that came in the traditional B&W format. I'm only missing the 1st one, but that's now only available in full color, which would throw off the symmetry of my set, so I'm hoping to find a new/mint copy of that book to finish off the beginning of the collection.
