Apr 26, 2006, 9:56pm, FlyingScotsman wrote: Have you ever had a lucid dream? That is, a dream where you realise you're dreaming? I had one of those last night. It was weird. I had a magazine in my hand, and I was talking to someone, and then I realised that I didn't actually know which magazine it was. It occurred to me that I couldn't have been reading the magazine if I didn't know what it was, and that was when it hit me that I was asleep. I tried reading the magazine (just in case there was anything useful my subconscious was trying to tell me), but it turned out to basically just be a string of unrelated words. Then I woke up, which was annoying. I was planning to go flying.
I've had dreams not too disimilar to that, but one where you are trying to whatever this thing is, but as you trying it just keeps on warping and changing.
A lot of my dreams are frankly just too bizarre to make or tale of. However there are some dreams that are more tangible than others and recurring ones at that. One such dream that has recurring throughout most of my adult life up til now is where I keep finding myself back in my old school (or at least something that is based it) and also in some taking part the lessons we did even though in all of these dreams, I have always been whatever my current age that is/was when I was having this dream!. I don't know if my subconscious was trying to tell me something (!) but the school in particular was in fact a special needs school. You see I too have an apprant form Aspergers Syndrome as well and I was diagnosed with being 'autistic' when I was eight, hence the reason I was sent there. Apprantly from what I've heard this particular place is suppose to be closing soon. I actually went passed the place today while I was out working the dog and the place looked pretty derilict. But I guess its just a way of laying the ghost.
Another more haunting and recurring dream which I used to have was about the house I used to live in many years ago. A lot of the dreams from that were very creepy indeed, even though nothing actually went on in them, but it was just the atmosphere. The place in the same derilict state as it was when we left it. Sometimes there have been dreams where I have woken up, but still in my dream, in the same front bedroom of this house and looking out to the same view there was from the window. But for some time now that dream has been much less of an occurance.
Another recurring dream has been something that has revolved around a model railway layout(s)!. Which of course slightly more pleasant but again usually mutates into something completely bizarre.
Also when in the past when I been either ill or depressed, I've also had some rather horrifying and disturbing dreams, which I would rather not go into any detail about and not to mention that would be breaching forum rules if I was to. But all I'll say is that I'm not in the dreams themselves but bearing witness to it. It's like I'm watching it on wide screen TV. Needless to say I would wake up feeling drained and all the more unhappy.
I also had a very bizarre dream last night, although I couldn't figure out what it was about. All I know is that I only got two hours sleep and I was to get up for work at 4.30am.

Here's a dream, I thought was cute and sweat.
Again, Kaede walked into my room, in the middle of the night, of course I was waiting for her.
She was talking to me, about her problems then she started crying, I hugged her as I tried to cheer her up. Of course, when she cries, I started crying...
Sadly, my alarm went off again, waking me up from my dream with Kaede...Double Drat!

I had a nightmare last night. Its kind of stuck in my mind because I don't often have those.
I dreamed I taking my dog for a walking out front of where I live. Through the buildings and trees accross the street I saw this incredible light flickering. Suddenly I realized the light was coming from a huge low flying comet. It went right over me, seems about to hit my house but flew just over the roof. I was sure it would land behind my house and possibly vaporize me but improbably it turned around like a guided missle as if coming back for another direct shot at me. Speaking of lucid dreaming I realized at that point it had to be a dream and wished it away. Don't know if it worked because its about that time I woke up.

Here's the latest dream, I had last night, again it was really sweet and cute...
This time, Kaede and I were out walking around, everybody was just staring at us, like we were going on a date, but really we're just hanging out that's all.
At the end of the day, we went to the top of a hill and watched the sunset over the city. Kaede and I were really close, but as per usual my darn alarm clock woke me up.
Dart, dart, double drat...or in this case...TRIPLE DRAT!

My dreams of Kaede and Primula just don't seem to stop at all.
On Saturday: Kaede, Primula and I went down to the theatre to see "Hero of the Rails" on the big screen, only now it was in 3D.
On Sunday: Another date with Primula, this time the two of us walked around the city, looking at all the different stores. She was surprised when we watched into a movie store and we found a Shuffle DVD with her picture on the front cover.
Last Night: Back to Kaede again, just sitting at the table, enjoying a good meal. After that, I was helping Kaede clean up the dishes and she started crying again, I walked over to her and hugged her. It was a peaceful moment, until my darn stupid alarm clock went off.
As I had said "DRAT!"

I dreamt last night that Fawtly Towers was re-made (although there won't be any new episodes). But some of the cast members were different.
John Cleese was Basil as he was in the series, same with Prunella Scales as Sybil and Andrew Sachs as Manuel, Jessica Alba played Polly instead of Connie Booth. Kathy Staff played the head chief with some other unknowns as the cooks, and Holly Willoughby played an Indian Waitress.
I can't remember much about what was going on, but I know Fearne Cotton was a Customer who got given the wrong meal from Holly (I've no idea what the character's name was). Polly had gotten drunk and was having several nights out and came back to the dinning room in a black dress and dark sunglasses. Then I remember Kathy Staff was having a talk in the kitchen with the staff about what was going on.
I don't what else happened when I woke up because somebody was at the door.

My dreams of Kaede and Primula keep going on again and again.
Friday night: Simply going to the fair with Kaede and Primula, I made the foolish choice of eating before going on a fast ride, big mistake.
Saturday Night: What can I say, this time it was Primula and Myself riding on behind a steam train, being pushed down the line by an old 4-4-0 steam engine.
Sunday Night: Kaede and I were out in the back yard, looking up at all the stars.
Monday Night (Last Night): Another storm had come, and Kaede was feeling scared. She asked if she could sleep with me, I was too tired to think about it, so I agreed. The storm kept us up, Kaede was upset completely, so I had hugged her to calm her down, of course she thanked me for that.
Of course, everytime, I get to the good part of the dream, my darn alarm goes off. DARN IT!

Okay here's a dream, I never thought would happen.
Kaede, Primula and I were up on stage, singing several different songs. At the beginning, we started off with "I'll Be Your Everything", then we went to sing even more songs.
After the last song was performed and while the crowd was still cheering on for us, my darn alarm went off, why did it have to end so soon?

I'd like to discuss about two dreams which I remember very well from last night and the night before.
Monday Night:
I dreamt of the Girl I like from my college (which I've now left, but she's still there), I dreamt that I wanted to try and ask her out. The problem was, there was another guy from her class at college who liked her also. Sometimes, she wanted to be with me and other times she wanted to be with him. In the end, me and this other guy got into a huge fight and she decided in the end that she didn't want to be with either of us.
I don't want happened in the end to her, whether she moved on or not because my front door knocked. But now I'm writing a short story about to try and make it into a short film someday.
Last Night:
Last night I dreamt that my cousin and I were playing Super Metroid on the Super Nintendo from the 90s, we found my Uncle's old Super Nintendo console and I asked if I could play and luckily my Dad said yes. Although the beginning was different the actual game, it was pretty much the same Super Metroid as I remember.
Anyway, when I had to face the first boss in the volcanic world of Norfair (if anyone who has played any Metroid game might know). Anyway when I entered the first boss chamber, the weirdest thing happened. Usually it would have been somebody like the boss Ridley, but it turned out to be Raditz and Nappa from Dragonball Z. So it was Samus Aran in a handicap battle with Raditz and Nappa in the volcanic world of Norfair. Luckily I had collect so many of the collectables needed from the game, and I first managed to defeat Radiz. Then I escaped but was followed by Nappa, so I went through all the areas and kept shooting all the creatures around and still shooting Nappa and eventually I defeated Nappa and defeated the first set of Boss'.
While playing I sat and thought, I wonder if at some point I'll be facing Vegeta, but of course it made no sense what so ever. I don't know whether I got to face him or not because I woke-up.

Talk about Deja Vu. For nights in a row, I was dreaming that I was always dating Kaede. Every night we went to the same place and did the same things every time.
Those dreams are really peaceful, that is until the darn stupid alarm clock goes off.

Normally I just small stuff about my dreams but, this time I think you all deserve a chance to find out what happens in the most recent sad and happy dream.
First off, in the dream I live with Kaede and Primula under the same roof, the moment I walked out of my room, Primula came up to me and asked me if I could spend the entire day with Kaede. I wanted to know what was going on but, still I agreed to taking her out for the day.
It was a nice sunny day, hardly a cloud in the sky, and with Kaede walking along beside, I could feel that everything was perfect, until I started seeing her cry.
I asked her what was wrong but, all she did was fall on me, crying her eyes out, then she said that she felt like nobody really liked her and maybe she should just go away. I told no way, she can't do that and I explained to her that everyone does like her, especially me, that was because she was special. Kaede stopped crying after that.
For the rest of the dream, we spent the entire day, on our little...(clears throat)...date, then returned to the house, only to find out that everyone else had been planning a party for Kaede, telling her that is special to all of them. Kaede was pretty much happy then ran to me and started me again, I hugged her back.
Of course, that darn alarm clock went, just a few seconds later, ruining my dream, I hate that clock!

I don't always remember my dreams too much, but there was this one time where I dreamt about a young woman, about 16 years old. I can't really remember much about her, only she seemed to be forming my dreams...because not long afterwards, I had one.
I went about drawing this woman, as I thought she should look, and named her Kiara. I figured she must be guiding me through my dreams, so I gave her the title "Dreamguider".
Thanks to her, I have a complete fan-series. ^^

Last night's dream was really sweet and beautiful.
I had asked Kaede out on what was our first official date, we went everywhere in Tokyo, then we went to a theme park. We rode on some rides, had a good lunch and talked all that time. Although I could feel as though someone was following us.
Later on, Kaede and I were on the fairus wheel, enjoying the view. During that time, I told Kaede that I really enjoy spending time with her and she excatly gave me, a small kiss on the right side of my face.
After we got off, we found out it was Mayumi, Itsuki, Sia and Nerine who were following me, Kaede thought I had set something up but, before I said anything, the four "spies" admited that they just wanted to see if she was alright, and that I had nothing to do with it. Kaede was reliefed, she came up to me and hugged me again, then we left the park, holding hands, all the way.
Of course, by the end of the dream, my darn alarm clock went off, at last I managed to beat that dang stupid good for nothing clock in finishing my dream!

Last night's dream was about Kaede and I again.
This time around, and this is continuing from the last dream, Kaede and I are getting closer and closer as a couple. We are falling in love (this can only happen in my dreams), whenever she gets sad, I do what I can to cheer her up.
Last night, she was sick as blazes and I was keeping her company, she sat in her bed, while I told her stories and often enough I would sing, to cheer her up, persoanally I think she liked it best when I sang "I'll Be Your Everything-Youngstown" or "You Could Have Fooled Me-Adam Gregory". Going on into the night, Kaede and I spent more time together, I made her some chicken noddle soup, she enjoyed that bit, then after that we hugged for...I don't know how long really.
After that, I told her how special she was to me, that I could never live my life without her. She was really happy to hear that, that she started to cry but, in a happy way.
To think that this time, my dream ended before my darn clock went off, thank goodness.

I had a rather disturbing dream last saturday where the Beatles made a guest appearance at my cousin's house. IIRC I was reading a few Beano annuals when my cousin told me the Beatles were downstairs in the hall. Suspicious, I followed him downstairs and he was right ...only to my disappointment.
Ringo was in the living room looking rather cheesed off, John was hiding in the lobby, Paul was short, chubby and wearing a grey t shirt; and George was ginger and bald on top. I tried to ask Ringo what life was like on TTTE and if I could have an autograph but he denied it and turned grumpy when I offered him a pen to use.
I then asked Paul if I could take a photo of him with my brother but once I turned on the camera, both of them grew reluctant and my brother sat on the front garden pathway to irritate me while Paul used this distraction to round up the other Beatles and leave without saying goodbye.

My dreams for some reason still goes to Kaede and me together!
Last night's dream, was really special to me, in so many ways. To start things off, while still living in Kaede's house (only in my dreams), she and I worked on a special story project called "Pink-Tales of a Super Hero Girl", I proviced the action and Kaede wrote up the romantic parts of the story, we were having a lot of fun writing up the stories.
After that, was a simple trip to a small resturant, we had placed our orders already and unknowing to me, Kaede reached over for my hand, holding it softly, my face was going bright red after that moment.
After the resturant, we went out to see a movie in the threatres, it was a romantic movie, only I can't remember the title of it. Anyway, we went in, sat down side by side, Kaede smiled at me throughout the entire time, and relaxing peacefully as we watched the movie.
The last part of the dream, took us to a sunflower field, and under the moonlight, standing there...Kaede and I kissed (personally I hope this doesn't get any Kaede fans mad at me), we continued for quite a while, until we decided to go home, holding hands all the way, I said to her that I love her and Kaede said that she loved me.
I woke up an hour earlier than normal, still I thought the dream was kinda sweet and wonderful.

Oh man, I must be lucky, cause once again I had another dream about Kaede again!
This time around, winter had come to the city of Tokyo, I did what I always did, shovelling the sidewalk, the only problem was that I couldn't get my boots on, as a result, I fell back. Kaede heard me fall over and ran over to see if I was okay, I told I was fine, she was reliefed.
After some snow shovelling, I went back inside, only to find that Kaede had made me some hot chocolate. After that, both of us plus Primula walked into the living room, to watch a movie on the television.
The movie didn't start for a few hours, so we watched some anime shows first, then we watched the film, again it was another romantic movie, sadly I can't remember the title of it.
After the movie, we went out to dinner, Primula was with Nerine at this point. Kaede had forgotten her jacket back at home, so I gave her mine, just to keep her warm. She was blushing bright red, even though it was freezing outside. As we waited to be seated, she got on her toes just to get up to my height and she kissed me on the left side of my face, now it was my face going red. Then she whispered into my ear, "I love you", I just smiled, hugged her back and told her "I love you too."
We had our dinner, then we went back to the house to watch some comedy shows, sitting on the same couch side by side, it certainly was a beautiful scene.
I woke up ten minutes before the clock went off.

I had a dream a few nights back about an Eighth series of Robot Wars. I swear, it was so realistic. I saw at least two fights, the robots were introduced just like in the show itself....everything.
The only thing that didn't make sense was that one of the robots was immobilised VERY early on, but ignored, then one of the other robots immobilised the other two and they were counted out, meaning the first robot mentioned went through even though it was clearly inoperable.

It's always about Kaede in my dreams, I have no idea why but, I hope these dreams never stop.
In this dream, Kaede and I were out on another date, this time we were going out, just to see a movie, that has gotten some really good reviews. It's only too bad I can't remember the title of the movie, even so, it was still pretty darn good, throughout the entire time, Kaede was holding my hand softly.
After the movie, I treated Kaede out to lunch, we both ordered spagetti and meatballs, we got one huge bowl, so we decided to share it, kinda cute, wouldn't you say?
We went out after that to the fairgrounds, where we rode on any good ride, throughout that entire time, Kaede continued holding my hand, she was blushing brightly and so was I to be honest.
What better way to end a perfect day, then to go to the park during the night, when the lights are coming on, I even said it was like walking along on the yellow brick road, sort of, Kaede loved hearing this and of course during this time, we both said to each other "I love you" and hugged for quite a while.
My dream ended five minutes before the clock went off.

The dreams that Matthew is currently reminded me of the reoccuring dreams I used to have in the past. Without bursting into a monologue, it's when you have dreams which share the same axis over a varied period of time.
One example I sometimes have is where I would go abroad on holiday to a tropical island, but every time I reach the hotel I realise that I left my luggage behind at home and enter a long term sulk until I'm reunited with it.
Another more recent example was where I've had three separate dreams where I'm alone on open heathland in the dead of night and my primary objective would be to head north through some fields until I arrive home safely.
