Dear Ferdinand,
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner - I was having my nightmare fuel restocked. Now then, let us see what you have to say:
I do not care for Bash and Dash either. To my mind, you lot are a bunch of useless filler characters designed to bring in the merchandising companies dough. Please prove me wrong at your earliest possible convenience.
First of all, that is not what I asked you, "Ferdinand" - I identified myself as your worst nightmare. The first thing that came to mind is Hee-Haw. This seems to indicate you have are deathly terrified of him.
As for who I am? Well, I'm afraid I can't tell you that... just yet. I need to know what you are terrified of, first*.
Sincerely,
Your worst nightmare
* Author's note: This illogical request is part of the whole character thing I've got going here.

I was hired at the last minute, to replace an engine named Jeremiah. He fell off the Shake Shake Bridge during filming. While he remained in the shed, I heard him talking to himself about "revenge" and "killing that Ferdinand". He was discovered to have gone insane and was shipped off to an asylum yard.

You have answered correctly. I am indeed Jeremiah, and I have escaped from the mental asylum. No one knows how much I suffered while I was in that shed. The men took me apart, and decided not to put me back together again - they spat and hissed, and some sold my parts for a quick buck, hence the quick deterioration of my mental health.
I was carted off to an asylum, true, but the men thought I was too terrifying to deal with. What remained of me was taken to the scrap yard - where I have sat for many years, plotting my revenge. I have managed to steal parts from other engines to make me able to steam once more. And now the time has come to put the Ferdinand chapter to end. I will shunt you off the edge of the dock. So long, you little -
*armed security guards arrive, closing Jeremiah's regulator and applying his brakes hard on. Then they pull him, struggling and spitting, away*
Sincerely,
There is no one writing this now

What is it like on Thomas' branchline. It is sunny most of the time, which worries the stationmasters and gardeners quite a bit. Well, at least we get some snow and rain during three months of the year.

Percy! Great to see you! Now for my question: According to the TV series, you love pulling the Post Train. Is this true? I thought you would prefer working on Thomas' branchline rather than on the mainline. However, if you really enjoy it, that's fine by me.

While I do like pulling the mail, I hate being out at night and just want to get back to the comfort and coziness of the branchline sheds. I especially hate it when delays occur and I get blamed for it. But you know how it is. Mail late, complaining customers.

Why does the later seasons in the TV series portray you as being childish and stupid most of the time. Also have you had any other incidents with trucks after those quarry trucks pushed you into that brake van.

Why does the later seasons in the TV series portray you as being childish and stupid most of the time. *Groan* Here we go. The infamous "Percy's a thick moron" incident. I've seen the reactions in the Thomas Parodies thread (my driver shows me and operates the mouse, so don't even ask). I was portrayed as being childish and stupid for money-making purposes, plain and simple. At least Andrew Brenner is portraying me as my proper self again. Sharon Miller did the Awdry's NO justice. At least Britt Allcroft and David Mitton knew what they were doing, unlike Sharon Miller! Also have you had any other incidents with trucks after those quarry trucks pushed you into that brake van. Watch Seasons 4 and 5, my good man. There's at least one or two episodes where something happens involving me and those trucks.

Hey there you ol' caterpillar, how do you feel about holding the record for the most accidents in a single season?
Why does Thomas always seem to come up with better insults than you during your arguments?
Why in the world did you trust Diesel 10 during Day of the Diesels after he wrecked your shed and attempted to destroy Thomas, James, and Lady during the Magic Railroad movie?

Well in the "Bulstrode Incident" you really didn't do anything to the trucks then (They were just being the careless buggers they are.) And no episodes in season 5 were written by Awdry, so I was thinking A Surprise for Percy didn't count (Though I guess I was wrong.). So let me rephrase: Have you had any accidents caused by trucks after season 6. And did you do anything to irritate them.

Hey there you ol' caterpillar, how do you feel about holding the record for the most accidents in a single season? Makes me feel weird. I've had so many parts replaced over the several seasons the show's had that I don't know whether I'm me or some other random engine. Why does Thomas always seem to come up with better insults than you during your arguments? Before argument scenes, HiT makes me get drunk the night before (don't ask how). I suffer a hangover next day while filming said argument scenes. Well, at least they don't do that anymore. Why in the world did you trust Diesel 10 during Day of the Diesels after he wrecked your shed and attempted to destroy Thomas, James, and Lady during the Magic Railroad movie? Simple. They didn't give two lumps of coal about continuity when the script was written. Off camera, I didn't trust him, but I was forced to trust him on camera. Not really, but I did convince HiT to take away their speaking privileges after what happened in Season 6. It only got carried out in Season 9, I think.

G'day Percy,
Just a couple of quick questions:
- Which is your favourite TV series special?
- In terms of the Railway Series books, who is your favourite illustrator and why?
Cheers, Wildnorwester

What are your aspirations (besides being Really Useful)?

Which is your favourite TV series special? Until the new one comes out (you never know), I would have to say "King of the Railway" in a heartbeat. They just got so much right while the other specials (eg. Day of the Diesels, Misty Island Rescue, etc.) did so much WRONG. In terms of the Railway Series books, who is your favourite illustrator and why? I don't quite know, to be honest. I've seen the illustrations of every illustrator while reading the stories, but I just couldn't pick one. If there was an illustrator that I WOULDN'T pick, that would be C. Reginald Dalby; his illustrations of us engines and people make us look TINY! The other illustrators are contenders for best, but because they all bring something splendid to the table, I just can't decide. What are your aspirations (besides being Really Useful)? Well, I am hoping that one day, I can return to Thomas' branch line. It's just so much better there. I mean, on the main line, I'm just treated like nothing but a brainless moron that knows nothing except his name. Well, at least Thomas understands. Another aspiration is that I want the big engines to stop being rude to me. All they do is say "Out of the way!", "Express Coming Through!", etc. I never get any respect whatsoever from the big engines on the main line nowadays. Lastly, this coordinates with the previous one, but my final ambition is for the Fat Controller to cut those main line engines down to size. In other words, put their careers on the line. Need I say more?

Getting a bit vitriolic there Percy. Aren't the likes of Henry, Gordon and James your friends, or is this just played up in the TV series?
Oh, and Percy, what do you think of British Railway's recent announcement to actually adopt the whole 'backing signals' procedure in your memory?

Well, sometimes they're friendly, but most of the time, I get no respect from the big engines. So yeah, most of the time, it's just played up in the TV Series. Oh, and Percy, what do you think of British Railway's recent announcement to actually adopt the whole 'backing signals' procedure in your memory? *left eye twitches* Excuse while I go yell at Gordon and James. Also, if an answer doesn't make any sense, that's because my personality has changed over the years (unlike the depiction of me in the TV Series).

Hello Percy.
Just a few questions:
- Thoughts on Daisy always leaving the milk behind, is it true that it always ends up as a "special" train for you?
- And two, why were you so happy in the TVS when Diesel arrived, you seemed to agree with the big engines on Diesel's manners, how come?
