Reading Outlaw Star, the original stuff is amazing. The Anime adaptation definetly shows some stuff in the OS universe, but definetly not everything.

It's been quite a while since I last read any mangas or got any new mangas, still now that the summer break is over, I'm going to go out and get more Mangas to read, cause for some of the series I had started reading, I never have gotten the chance to finish them, the only series I had finished reading completely was "Time Stranger Kyoko".
Here are some of the titles I am hoping to get real soon: -Pichi Pichi Pitch Mermaid Melody Volume 4 -Cardcaptor Sakura Volume 4 -The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross Volume 10 -Hayate the Combat Butler Volume 3 -Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Volume 4 -Full Moon Volume 2
After that, I'll go looking for more interesting mangas. If you are wondering, I'm into action and romance mangas.
Is there any other mangas, that I have not mentioned that has either action or romance or both?

*Blows dust off the thread*
Sorry to double post but, most recently I have gotten myself a new manga series, called "Shakugan No Shana" volumes 1 and 4, I only read the first one, I don't want to spoil what happens next.
Do any of you guys like reading this series, if so, is it good...it looks good to me right now and I'm looking forward to reading more tales.
Anyways, I have to ask, have you guys read any new manga books as of late?

Boy, I haven't read a single manga for a while but, now I am. It's called 'Mamotte! Lollipop', so far I'm really enjoying this first volume. So far, I've gotten up to chapter 3 and all I can say is...poor Nina, she's being driven nuts, having two boys hanging around her all the time, and having all these other wizards going after just because she's got the pearl they want. It's got everything, Comedy, Romance and action...it's my type of manga and I would highly recommand it to anyone else, who's interested into this kinda stuff. EDIT: Just finished reading the first volume and I have to say....it's AWESOME! Plus, there's the promise of more excitment in the next book, oh...I can't wait to read more!

I'm hoping to read those soon...whenever I get the time. Now, what about you guys, read any new mangas as of late?

Okay most recently, I got two more manga books the first 'Shakugan No Shana-Volume Five', and 'Full Moon-Volume Three'.
These are amazing books!
The fifth volume of 'Shakugan No Shana' had just mostly come out but, the manga story was shorter than normal cause the book also has a novel story too (right to left). Plus the 'Full Moon' books are really good, I'm looking forward to reading the next one.
And yes, I have read the mangas I got on my birthday including 'Mao-Chan', that took a while to read and yet the story continues in the next volume. Here's what I'm going for next...
-Mamotte! Lollipop-Volume Two -Full Moon-Volume Four -The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross-Volume Eleven (Last Volume-Coming Soon) -Tokyo Mew Mew-Volume Five

I Always keep up to date with One Piece, and own all 57 volumes so far.
Aside from One Piece I own...
1: BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo volumes 1-3 (although I've heard these are actually volumes 22ish) 2: YuGiOh GX 1-6 3: Black Cat 1-5 4: Karakuri Odette 1-5 (has anyone else heard of this, it's quite good =D, although I am finding it hard to find the last volume)
and I own volume 1 of YuGiOh R, Naruto, Bleach, Death Note and Shaman King, all of which I picked up at an expo, because if I find anything that is hard to get a hold of manga-wise, its always "volume 1", so I bought them to read and get a grasp of the shows.
I should also point out, outside of One Piece and YuGiOh, I wouldn't mind getting to read any mangas that have appeared in "Jump Ultimate Stars", for me this acts as a guide as to what manga is out.
On other notes, I have read the Pokemon original manga, and I love the fact that it keeps the gameboy style, when I have the money I want to buy that manga too.
My brother also has all of Dragonball and Dragonball Z =)

Well, I finally got the chance to finish reading the other four volumes of 'Mamotte! Lollipop' and I have to say that all seven books get two thumbs up and a 10 out of 10, it kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I recommand reading this series, it is good! My favourite part was when Nina and Zero fell in love and kissed. Now I'm looking forward to reading the manga series 'Sakura Hime-The Legend of Princess Sakura'. I just got the first book a few days ago.

Well I've completed the whole series of Ranma 1/2 & Death Note, sad to say I don't do alot, and most of the classic pre 1990 manga haven't got completed of proper releases into English so alot of bad luck for me. Most of them now days are Drangon Ball remakes or Seinfeld like 4 panel strips like Lucky Star with mediocre cartoon artwork
