I think it's best to retire the show, or it'll turn into crap.

Speaking of that, did anybody else catch that Invaded! special today of EEnE? I gotta say...I never knew relatives could be THAT "out-of-this-world"... if you catch my drift. o.o;
Also, there's that movie, ED, EDD, N EDDY’S BIG PICTURE SHOW, in 2008...can't wait to see it. :3

I am a friend of one voice actress who does two of the Cul-de-Sac kids on 'Ed, Edd n Eddy'. (on MySpace) She has agreed to do impressions of the characters for me in her next interview. Isn't that cool or what!?

Hey guys, if you think EEnE would be cancelled, think again, on a website called 'www.the3eds.com', someone asked Danny or someone about the cancellation, but that won't happen! (Thank God!).
It will continue and here's the reply.
''Ed, Edd n Eddy may be the most poorly supported show on CN, BUT it has NOT been cancelled. After the recent marathon in the US garnered Cartoon Networks highest ratings for the year, I doubt they would shoot themselves in the foot. Cartoon Network was gracious enough to agree to my request to make a long form EEE, so Season 6 will be comprised of one new EEE half hour, to be followed by the 90 minute EEE movie. Tentatively titled: “ ED, EDD, N EDDY’S BIG PICTURE SHOW”. It will air in 2008.
Cartoon Network’s stunt of promoting the Eds “last Episode” for the marathon referred more to the last episode of the season. The main reason there will not be any new episodes is because AKA is just too busy working on the movie to produce any new half hours. We’re not a factory, folks!
As for a Season 7 of Ed, Edd n Eddy, that remains up for consideration. I nor CN have talked about this YET. EEE will live forever, it’s CN longest and strongest running series. If by chance we do not produce anymore “new” shows, I’m sure the network will re-run the series for quite some time. You can quote me on this, Kit. See you soon! ............................. Just a little cross-promotion, but it is relevant to the thread... US forum members can hear Ellen Fitzgerald do various voices (including Nazz and May) on a podcast called "The Rant" on MusicPlusTV. The website address is:http://musicplustv.com. Listen out for my name being mentioned! Those of you who can't wait can head on over for an exclusive sneek peak of my audio dub with Nazz as one of the eight introducers in the Sodor Studios thread! EDIT: Just found some details on the movie comming next year: 1. Guess who else is going to be critical to the plot, aside from the Eds? ONLY RUDDY NAZZ! Yes, the most minorest of the cul-de-sac (How many episodes has Nazz had all to herself? One!!) will finally be getting the screen time she deserves! 2. The Kanker Sisters will be in this film. 3. Nazz has a crush on someone. But who will it be? Time will tell... 4. Seriousness will set in as Nazz gets injured. And something tells me it won't be 'cartoony' injured... 5. The movie will last 90 minutes. That's about 30 or 60 minutes of Nazz, people! Oh, and for those of you who can't remember who Nazz is (For shame!), here's a picture of her at her cutest: toast.gotanet.se/u2/eds/screens/boys_will_eds/10000000040.jpg

Is anyone aware of the Ed, Edd n Eddy TV movie "The Big Picture Show?" It's appearently about The Eds and Nazz going to search for Eddy's brother.

I haven't seen much of the Eds lately. "The Big Picture Show" sounds like it's going to be a great movie. Has there been anything announced regarding a release date?

Ah Ed Edd n Eddy. I miss that show.
Some quotes Ed: An elephant never gorgets but I forget what the elephant remembers
Ed: I wish I had a turtle shell
Johny: He guys I'm inside my own head!!!
Ed: Shush, My yeast is rising
Edd: The bigger they are the harder they fall Eddy: Ed's big *tries to tackles and bounces off Ed*

Has there been anything announced regarding a release date? According to a recent interview, when the movie is set to be released depends on the Cartoon Network CEOs. The A.K.A. staff themselves admit the whole channel is somewhat, f**ked up. Who knows when they'll air it, lately they haven't been airing the seires regularly at all either.

Back in its peak days, I enjoyed watching this for variable reasons, one factor that stood out was the surrealist images like the oversized jawbreakers and the fact that it knew it was a cartoon although there was one episode where the trio were delusioning and were capable of eating the sun and stealing Jimmy's outline.
But soon after no new episodes were made I grew tired of it and stopped watching. Overall my favourite of the three was Edd because he was the only sane one trying to put the other two right (like using broccoli and plasters), closesly followed by Ed with his idiocy and random sentences. "Buttered toast..."

I would say that the episode 'Stop, Look and Ed' is the funniest of them all! Especially when Jonny runs around naked saying, 'Feel the wind!'

*Ba- Bump* Thanks to a heads up from Sparks, Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Movie has made its premier debut in Australia - lucky dingos! l( Fortunately, being an immense EEE fan, I was able to see this for myself, and...wow. It was so breathtaking I just had to write a review for it (added in a spoiler to as not to tempt anyone ): Well, it finally happened – after 106 episodes and 4 specials, our three favourite “Ed Boys” finally got a movie – and I am totally beside myself with the results. It’s really, really, REALLY hard not to give away any spoilers after watching it (courtesy of YouTube) but Danny and his team really outdid themselves here. The animation is, as usual flawless, making the most of the impossible, and seeing all our untouched, unextended cast venture into new scenery and seeing several home truths arise as a result. The story still has the usual cartoony-violence I adore, and then some... ...but it's clear that AKA didn't want this to be just an extended episode. Heck, the frantic first act will leave you impressed! I love that this is an actual 90 minute flick as it gives us more time to explore each individual character as they travel on their quests in mind – from the Eds retreating to “Big Bro’s” place to the rest of the cul-de-sac kids chasing them, who each face their own issues throughout the number of journeys. This also makes way for something really strucks a chord for me: character development. Sure, as we know, certain characters’ “faults” are over-exaggerated as more seasons are made, but here we finally see different sides to each character with, again, home truths that we have longed to see happen happen. The best character development has to come from the Eds themselves; all I’ll say is the acting and animation in several notable scenes – Double D’s bedroom, a swamp and the “home stretch” – is outstanding and THE best that I’ve seen in any cartoon ever made. And talking of the acting, what’s good animation without a memorable cast of voice actors? Each and everyone of them have played their trademark characters brilliantly, but given a chance, I certainly hope to see Sam Vincent (Edd) receive a reward for every scene he’s been in for his full-on performance. In short, I wouldn’t really be sorry if another series wasn’t made. After watching this Big Picture Show, I feel that Danny and his creative team have brought this fine cast as far as they can (literally!), as well as rounding off everything like every proper movie should. No open doors for a sequel, folks! As I said, I’d write more about every square inch of this flick, but I really don’t want to give out spoilers for anyone who wants to find out for themselves. I’d just like to sum this movie up in one word: ;D ;D ;D “JAWSOME!” ;D ;D ;D

I couldn't find the Ed Edd n Eddy thread. Then my thread on the movie got deleted. Then this comes up! But Christopher has it about right. This for sure should be the returning of Ed Edd n Eddy, which is still Cartoon Networks longest running show.
