Well, I'd pick the second option, simply because we'd end on a high note for the series rather than a lower than hell note.
So, Would you Rather...?
See The Fat Controller go on a diet?
...or...
See the Thin Controller pig out?

See The Fat Controller go on a diet. His Twitter would be far more interesting.
So Would you rather: Have Sodor exist in real life like it does in Series 17 OR For the Railway Series to have never existed?

To not have the Railway Series exist would be to not have Thomas and his friend's stories shared with the world, and whether or not Sodor were to exist in our universe, to not have those stories shared would be a tragedy. I, naturally, pick the second option.
So, Would You Rather
Have two beefy, ripped-beyond-belief (like, Marvel/DC comics ripped) arms
OR
Gain four extra arms, but thin and limber?

The extra arms is very tempting because I often need an extra pair of hands, but I think I'd rather have two beefy arms like Marvel/DC comics.
Would You Rather:
Be the most popular with the number 1 status of a team just to please the minority.
OR
Be the one who does the most work and is appreciated for it more without being popular or having the number 1 status?

Option 1 sounds tempting, but it is nice to be appreciated rather than be popular, so Option 2 has my vote.
Would You Rather..?
Have a relationship with a human that lasts until a divorce happens?
Or
Have a relationship with your pet that lasts as long as it's lifespan?

Um 0_o .... I'd go with the first option. I like animals, but not that much.
Would you rather...
Live forever trapped in a library?
OR
Or stuck in a mineshaft Minecraft style for a year?
|
|
|
Post by Culdee Fell on Jul 20, 2016 20:14:50 GMT
Ouch, tough, but I'd take the mineshaft so I could go elsewhere once my year was up.
Who would you rather meet and have a conversation with, Christopher Awdry or Andrew Brenner?

Definitely Christopher. Being that he is the son of the man who created the series, I feel like he would be a more interesting personality to interact with.
Would you rather visit space only once and live on the planet for the rest of your days, or leave the planet and live in space forever?

The first planet I were to see, or visit, is where I would stay? And by living in space, does that mean I can't set foot on another planet ever again?
Hmm. I wouldn't mind the infinite cosmos to keep me company, but I'd rather do that from a place I could call home... preferably with ground under my feet. Option A seems like the best choice here.
Hey. Would You Rather:
Be made completely and totally aware of events that would ultimately transpire in the next year nationally, globally, etc. but nothing related to your own personal future
OR
Be made completely and totally aware of your presumably untimely demise, down to the last gruesome detail?
|
|
|
Post by Rusty Red Scrap Iron on Jul 21, 2016 11:02:17 GMT
I think I'd rather be totally aware of the first option, the second is tempting but being the frequent worrier that I am I would worry about knowing my demise.
Would You Rather:
Declare your love for that special someone with the term "I Love You Too..."
OR
Declare your love for that special someone with a term of your own like "I Know..."

Option 2, because we all want to say it like Han Solo or Leia Organa, don't we?
Would you Rather...?
Have Ravage as a pet?
...or...
Have Megatron as a ally?

Megatron as an ally. He's a competent thinker, strategist, always a step ahead... but he's manipulative, too, and he'll keep me on my toes. That, and depending on the incarnation, he can transform into a gun, or a wicked cool fly-ey ship thing. So that's a bonus. I actually don't know which one Ravage is.
Now, tell me- Would you Rather:
Live in a universe where toast is offensive
OR
Live in a universe where toast is our last line of defense
|
|
|
Post by Rusty Red Scrap Iron on Aug 20, 2016 10:38:15 GMT
Mmm... I like toast regardless, but I'm going with last line of defense as I'm sick of everything being an offensive to a minority nowadays.
Would You Rather:
Do everything with one's career for as long as it lasts?
OR
Focus primarily on that one ambition that you set out to achieve in the first place?

Mud can get washed off fairly easily, Coke stains and stickiness are a whole other matter entirely.
Would you rather:

OR
Be forced to live exclusively off your favorite junk food for a month without brushing your teeth

The second option, at least my mouth will taste of something I like all the time.
Would you rather... Have CSX be the only railroad in North America
OR
Have Conrail come back, but with Hunter Harrison in charge?
|
|

Post by Chris on Jul 23, 2017 13:27:20 GMT
Not familiar with the Conrail situation or the guy mentioned. If having him in charge would be considered a positive thing, then sure.
Who you rather:
Be a guest at the Stationmaster's house when Thomas came to breakfast
or
Be in the barber's chair when Duck crashed into his shop?

Barber's chair. Either way, it makes a rather mundane event a hundred times more interesting; if there was a third option, I'd be one of the crew from the train that the Flying Kipper crashed into–that way I'd get some good cocoa.
Would you rather:
Be the famous subject of an award-winning documentary
or
Be the star in a single film that is a cultural fixture, but have no other significant acting roles in film, TV or plays?

Mmm... that's a toughie. I think I'd go with the award-winning documentary.
Would you rather:
Be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as someone of significance?
or
Be in DC's Arrowverse as someone of significance?

Marvel, since I have never seen a DC Movie in my life. Would you rather... Be stuck on Misty Island for a year, or... Watch the worst episodes of Thomas and Friends on repeat for a week?
