I have a feeling this is wrong, but they are all part of a trio? Duke (MSR trio), Flora (Thomas, Toby, Flora), Dash (Logging Losers) Fair answer, but I was actually thinking that unlike most engines, none of these have buffers. Good thing about this game though is there are sometimes multiple answers I'll let someone else answer your poser.

Good thing about this game though is there are sometimes multiple answers Flora has no buffers? It's been a while since I've seen her episode, mind! Actually, what I had in mind was that they were all first properly introduced in "The Island of Sodor". Easy, they are all HiT Entertainment's cash cows! They have all had incidents with turntables! Mine: Proteus, Bertram, Smudger

They are all one-off characters. Diesel, Toby, Mavis Actually, they are all repaints of previously existing NG engines. Proteus = Sir Handel Bertram = Duke Smudger = Rheneas Yours is... they are the only speaking engine characters in the episode 'Mavis'? Duncan, Shane Dooiney, Duke
