Molly looks like she's stepping out of some kind of rift in the space time continuum. Haha, I guess you would think that due to the sunlight being there when the picture was taken.

I thought this dog looked like it was on fire or something. I have a dog 2 called Granville.

Well, as I've been posting before, I breed Bettas and am always adding to my family more bettas, so last Thursday I was out and came by two very gorgeous males, one was quite unique in colour, a purple-lavender and white - I had to have him despite dad telling me not to let my room turn into Shedd Aquarium! XD I...and Aidan, christened him 'Culdee' - mind I only asked Aidan for ideas because I was at a rare loss for names! XD Oh, and above is a lone Checker Barb who shares the tank, they get on all right...that Barb is female, and her name is...Checkers XD ~Elizabeth

They are gorgeous, Elizabeth! Here's my friend's dog, Zeus, who I have a half-share in . He's a Doberman, but he's a big softie who's always chasing everyone for cuddles.

^ Nice fish, Liz! Anyway, my family has three pets, all of which belong to my sister, though we end up taking care of them because she's away at Kutztown for 8 months of the year. They are as follows: A grey and black cat named Spooky. A red beta fish and a white and orange goldfish (Both fishes have no names) We've also had several deceased pets, more of which belonged to my sister, including several more goldfish since 2003.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on my fish, they're my gems, yes they are! ^_^ As of now, I have approx. 14 male and 7 female bettas, with a tank full of fry from a previous spawn. I lost dear Sapphire as well as a female named Callie ^^' But a few days ago, I got hold of a beautiful halfmoon male - I call him Chris... Named after one of the members with the same name here, hehehe XD A dear friend, yes ^^ ~Elizabeth

Chris is such a handsome fish, Elizabeth. I hope he loves you as much as I do.

Awww. Sorry to hear about Sapphire, but nice to know you got something from your loss anyway. Your new fish looks neat and I think the name is very handsome-sounding indeed. Nobel, popular, such a name will...er...I'm rambling, aren't I? ;D Nah, I know the real "Chris" you named him after, and I think that's very nice.

Awwwww, but you're a dear friend too ^_^ He's a real hard-headed one, this fish - can't seem to get it through his head that he's gotta be nice to girls before they'll let him spawn... XD
Anyway, again I've gotten hold of two females today, who as of yet are unnamed... I'm running out of names XD This brings the number up to... *counts* ...9 females, 14 males... and a tank full of Sapphire's kids (he died two weeks after spawning, back in March - shows I do not lose bettas to death very often XD).

As most people do, I've always wanted a dog, but my parents were always denying it. But not any more! Tomorrow, we will officially own a bichon frise by the name of Lula Belle. We plan to call her Molly instead. Anyway, my dream to own a dog has finally come true!

So I was walking Grizzly through the Plaza this morning after work, and I happened to find this little guy tied to a bench, crying. At first I wondered if he was waiting for an owner to come and retrieve him, but when we passed by again, he was still there. I called the police, of course, and waited about 20 minutes for them...not that I held much hope, but they never showed =P So I took Grizzly home, brought back some food, and decided to bring the pup back with me. I've decided to call him B.J. - not sure if we'll be able to keep him or not (taking care of four boys is enough of an adventure), but he's definitely a cute little guy (although he does need to learn not to wee in the house). Oh yeah...there are some SICK PEOPLE in this world, to go and abandon a dog like that =P I should think by now they'd consider the title "Man's Best Friend" more of an insult than anything else.

They do say that "A dog (or any animal) is for life, not just for Christmas". They need a lot of care and attention, and can't just be bought for the sake of having an animal. In my own words, I'd say those people "Haven't got the slightest clue". No such treatment for my pet cat, Smudge, of course. He was asleep when I tried to take the picture, but the camera woke him up. Nasty camera. Mind you, he has been suffering with quite a few fleas as of recently.

A few months ago we got a new kitten from a yard sale (don't ask...)
We named him Linus, and he's grown into a mad eater (he was twelvish weeks old when we got him) But he is a good cat nonetheless. And a lug; he will not hesitate to curl up right in my lap as I'm watching TV or reading.

Small update on B.J....we were able to find him a home on a farm about 40 miles north of where we live, with the brother of a friend from the retirement village. It seems he was looking for a beagle specifically, so I'm sure now that my finding B.J. was no accident, but meant to be. He'll go to a place where he's looked after, and he even has a baby sister!!! (His new owner has a tiny black Chihuahua/Dachschund cross called Sadie.)
All in all, I'm glad we were able to find B.J. a good home, especially since my place is already crowded with two cats, a huge dog and a roommate (all of whom are male). Of course, I'm heartbroken to see him go, but his welfare is what's important. Here's to you, B.J.!

Guess what? I just found out that my cat is dying...He has some kind of kidney cancer, and had about three weeks left. He has some medicine for it, and he isn't in pain, so it'll be quick & painless...

That's it. My cat's dead. But it's funny. I'm very sad, but I'm not grieving as much as I should. After his death, Me, and the rest of mt family remembered all the good, bad, & funny times we had with him. I'll miss him sure, But I do know he's in a better place now...
