I had a work mate tell me that he thinks there could be something in our little office at work. The clock that has just been put up recently fell off missing his head by inches. Some would say faulty hook but then his cup of tea and his pen stand took a dive off the table. That shook him up. So far nothing else has happened.
Hey Ben, anymore trips out?

Only two and the weather decided to play havoc with one night and we got drenched and the last time was about two weeks ago and it was foggy. Didn't see a thing. The wind was quiet which we were thankful for but on close inspection of the pictures we had nothing. Took a walk down the short bit of the track bed too but got nothing. Not giving up hope but just nothing seems to be happening just yet. We are going to leave it for a little while and see how things go the next time.

Unlucky. You may get something next time. With warmer weather approaching too. That will give you more time out.

In the Hospital where I work, I've had several unnatural encounters. The paper towel dispensers throughout the hospital are operated by a motion sensor, and there has been many times when I've in different wards, kitchens, storerooms and toilets were I'm either alone or no one is anywhere near the dispensers...when they without warning, dispense a paper towel.
Not long after I started working the hospital, I was told by the nurses on one ward that the then empty half of the ward was haunted by a small boy. The ward in question only accommodates patients over 18 who will tell nurses that they see the boy wandering the corridor (or in rare cases, in the patients rooms) at the dead of night. It being winter, and the lights off in the empty ward, it was pitch black in their. I got a little shiver down my spine that night.
A few weeks later, I was clearing up dinner on the ward in question and I had just collected the last dinner tray from a side room, which was next to the door that lead to the still empty part of the ward when a patient buzzer starting bleeping; a patient was calling a nurse to their bed for something. A Nurse came out of staff room and looked at the display that indicated which bedside buzzer was ringing and declared: "The ghost is about!" and walked into the empty ward to turn off the buzzer. I followed her into the dark corridor and into one of the patients rooms. A sure enough, the room had no light on and there was no one in there apart from the nurse and myself

Had a few around the house:
Have been a room at various times, and felt like a presence come into the room (like a you get when someone enters a room and your back is turned). However, when I've turned around no one's there.
Had an incident last year, when around 12 at night, me, my mom, and my sister all hear a knocking sound like someone knocking on a door. No one was there.
And today had maybe the creepiest experience I've had in my life. I usually take a nap after college, was waking up from that and I saw what I can only describe as a face. It was white, and kinda like the saw mask thingy (but it wasn't I can assure you of that). Just a white face, looking at me from a bit back from my bed, a little above me. It was at about the same level of my head, and by my closet door (that's white, BUT this was by where I keep all my black clothes hung up and NOT the door). I screamed something (what I don't exactly remember but it was something to the effect of "what is that?!" or "who are you?!"). I physically remember screaming and I know I did as my mom heard me and asked if I was okay (I remember her doing that too, and she has she did it). I responded with "No, I'm okay" (kinda remember responding but that's about it, I don't remember what I said). I closed my eyes (again I know I physically did that), and when I opened them I the face was gone. I checked several times, to be sure. VERY unnerving.

I've got one. When my older brother looked into the mirror a couple of years ago, he saw a woman in Victorian clothing. It turned out the house we live in was built during the 1970's on the grounds of where a house much like that out of "To The Manor Born" once stood. Now I'm too scared to look into any of the mirrors around our house in case I see anything odd myself!

Whilst never seeing a spirit myself, I was told that my old house was haunted by the Ghost of my Great Grandmother. One night my mother and father were away and my sisters were babysitting me. I was in a room the far end of the hallway. Over the baby moniter my sisters heard this heavy breathing and gentle knocking as if someone was sitting on a rocking chair, they went down to investigate and found nothing, nor anything that could have caused the knocking. Another night my sister was in the bathroom and she seen a shadow like an old stooped women pass by the door. I do remember being absoultey terrified of my room and never stayed in it. I found out much later that my great grandmother died in the room. Also another expierence of the supernatural was had by my brother. He and his friends were walking down this long avenue that led to a beautiful Manor house. Note he was walking down a path to the left of the road. He was about half way towards the gate and town when he and his friends heard the sharp clip of horse's hooves on the road. Turning around they seen a horse drawn hearse. What startled them was the fact that both the horses and their driver were headless. They ran and the horses quickened there pace, they ran threw the gates where the sounds of the horse vanished. My brother was taken ill for several days afterwards. I kid you not.

My house used to be a house for horses to rest on their way to Gloucester, Hereford and so forth My bedroom used to be where the food stall was so there's nothing supernatural there but a couple of times i swear in the crack between my door and the coridoor outside every month i see a black figure shoot past in the dead of night. Also several times on my way to the shower i pass a room which i don't know what it was used for and out of the corner of my eye i see a little girl wearing an old riders helmet but i don't pay any attention to them. They don't bother me so why should i be scared of them, in fact one night when the figure passed my door i just said "Oh your back again are you? oh well there's some minced pies in the fridge if your hungry" then i just went back off to sleep
But one night back in my old house i had a spooky encounter. I woke up from something and i saw a man at the end of my bed (Since i was in the bottom of a bunk bed) He leaned on the post keeping up the top deck and smiled at me, it was a friendly smile so i wasn't too frightened... until he just disappeared.

I've got a humorous one... Last Summer, one of my neighbors passed on. Larry was a collector of everything, and once told me and Dad that if it had a Free sign on it, he'd take it home. He especially loved old machinery. When he left us, his family decided it was time to clean out the property. I could go on for days decribing the junk and good junk we've unearthed and, sadly, discarded much of it. Larry's brother, who REALLY likes throwing things away, scrapping things, etc, has been helping a lot. One day, they were burning, probably some stuff that shouldn't have been burned. As they did so, there were some purple, green, and yellow flames. Larry's son Hunner took some pictures, and in the one he used the flash on, we can all see clear as day Larry's face in the smoke. If the paranormal science is true, then it stands to reason all the steel and iron and other metals scattered about are more than enought to hold supernatural energy. We're all waiting to see Hunner take a picture of his uncle on a particularly destructive day, only to see Larry standing behind his brother, trying to strangle him for throwing out all his stuff!

My shift ends at 11pm and my commute is an hour drive. The two lane highway near home is usually empty that time of night and I'm a lead foot so I was doing alteast twenty over the speed limit. Suddenly I thought I saw a man just standing in the middle of the road from out of nowhere. I slammed on my brakes and to my horror was not sure if I missed him. I parked in the middle of the road where I'd stopped and got out to look calling, "Hello? Are you alright?" but no one was there. After I drove off I came to the conclusion I'd seen a ghost on the road.

As many of you will know i'm an active volunteer on the Dean Forest Railway. Now during the winter months i was helping the shed crew restore a prairie tank engine. Anyway, since there were no trains running i would get off the mainline train in the morning and walk up the forest branchline until i got where i needed to be. It was the same coming back, now one evening i'm passing a station called St Mary's Halt. The DFR had closed this station since it was in the middle of the forest and almost no one used it. Now as i was walking along the derelict platform i suddenly heard what sounded like a 5 year old shriek. It came from the siding where we kept our spare hoppers. I was definitely worried since it's by no means uncommon for children and teenagers to come from Lydney park and climb on the wagons. It was irritating to staff since they may hurt themselves, and now it sounded like someone had. I rushed to where i heard the scream come from but i found no one, i searched all the wagons but no child could be found. By now the sun was gone and the moon was going to light the rest of my way to the mainline station. I was confused since i was sure i'd heard a child screaming. I looked back and, i'm not so sure, but i thought i saw a shadowy figure watching me as i walked on down the platform. I got to the comfort of the mainline station where one of the signalmen was waiting. We had a chat and i brought up the subject of st mary's halt. The signalman listened intently and he said that in the railway's heyday there were track maintenance teams that would walk along the line to the top station ... Maybe a dead maintenance worker was trying to warn me about walking on the line

Once I had taken a holiday with my schoolmates to germany, and my brother decided to put on "Predator." I wasn't really watching it though. As we began to reach the climax, my brother screamed and pointed at thethe window and the outside, and me and our other roommate jumped for miles as we thought the Predators where after us! Turns out it was just a millapede on the wall. I'm glad to have have left that Horribe hotel behind! Not so much a ghost story, just something to tickle yer funnyfunny bones! X3
