Ah, thanks Christopher, another friend also sent me that site yesterday.
Didn't actually solve it though, although I did find out how to - by using the archiac most intelligent method of solving problems ever.
I turned it off, and turned it back on again.
Now I have a new problem.... the processing speed on this thing is so slow.... and the speakers work when they feel like it. Computing devices just love me.

Quick question- does anyone here know how to check your computer's age? Like, exactly when you first started it up? I'm trying to figure out when I bought my MacBook, as it's getting pretty old, and I can't find any kind of age indication anywhere. It's probably going to be something simple I'm forgetting.

I'm not sure... but are there any other IT experts here? I need some help...
My computer has been functioning fine since I brought it home nearly a year ago. Now every so often, it will lag badly & when I load up the Task Manager it shows that it's using 100% disk space, even if it's under 1MB/s. This causes nearly everything to slow down, yet after a while it goes away. Then comes back again - it's like a game of leapfrog. Can anyone provide a solution/link to a solution? I've been scanning the internet for day's now & tried all sorts of tricks, but nothings really worked. Anyone got any bright ideas?
Here's a few details of my computer in general:
HP 15 Notebook PC 15-g094sa
- AMD Quad-Core A8-6410 Accelerated Processor - 1TB Hard Drive - 8192MB DDR3 SDRAM - Windows 8.1 - WLAN

Firstly, how much space do you have on your harddrive?
Secondly, can you get the RAM tested somehow? It sounds like your computer may be paging - using the harddrive as RAM as it thinks it's out of RAM. Given that the harddrive is mechanical instead of solid state, this usually results in slower performance.

What programs are running? I would check for Malware first. Could be a memory leak. Make sure your antivirus is up to date and run it. Download this program (The free one will work fine) www.malwarebytes.org/ and run a scan.

Can anyone with an iPhone 4S help me out? I keep getting updates on my phone everyday telling me that the newest version of iOS 9.1 is available for download. My only options are to update or remind me later, but I would like for it to stop reminding me at all. It didn't always do this, just when I upgraded to 9.0. I know I've got an old phone, but does anyone know how to solve this issue?

FWIW, I would update to the 9.1. One of the common sayings in I.T. is not to use the .0 release of anything, especially operating systems, as they'll have all sorts of bugs and security holes. The .1 release usually fixes up a number of these.

The .1 release usually fixes up a number of these. Well my only problem with that is that I already regret updating to 9.0 to begin with! Ever since I left iOS 7, my phone has been slow and crashes a lot more than it used to. So I feel like upgrading even further would make things worse than they are, which is why I was hoping to just find a way to turn the notifications off completely.
