So is it true that there are more KFCs in the UK than McDonald's? Let's see... KFC opened their first UK restaurant in 1965 whilst McDonald's opened their first UK restaurant in 1974. KFC might've made the best of that headstart. My main fast food joints are normally the chip shops, basically because their grub is cheaper and you get better value for your money...Well, in terms of the latter, most of the time.

Subway and Arby's are the two regulars for me when I don't feel like cooking up supper.
Cold cut trio w/ lettuce, tomato, onions and extra green peppers with a sprinkling of sub sauce is my Subway fare. Really nice now since Subway began offering to toast your buns beforehand. I think outcompeting Quizno's was the reason they began doing this.
With Arby's, well the roast beef cheddar with a side order of onion petals is what I usually go for.
I try to avoid eating at McDonalds as much as possible, and only eat there on average every 6-8 weeks or so, and mostly for a quick breakfast: Sausage McMuffin (mmmm), 2 hash browns (mmmm), and a large OJ.
Every once in a while I get a craving for some KFC, but regret it afterwards when I do indulge myself. Their fries must be made out of cardboard pulp, and the chicken - *blech*. Their only saving grace is their potato salad. Still, after eating one of their 3-piece meals I always find myself saying "Why did I eat that!?"

Chick-Fil-A is my favorite. At first I didn't like their new menu, but I've warmed up to it. Trouble is its not as cheap as other Fast food joints.

One of my favorite places to go is the local Sonic drive-in. It's good for breakfast, Used to go there on the way to school...when I had morning classes, that is.

For hoagies, I go to Wawa (regional convenience store). Breakfast I can live with Dunkin Donuts or something from McD's. Otherwise, I very rarely eat fast food. But IF I do, I would rather it be from Sonic than any other place.

In DD's homestate of Massachusetts, there's (not surprisingly) one in every freaking town. Swear to god, on a recent visit with family I swear I saw three within a mile of each other.

Anyone tried Subway's pizzas? They're out of this world.

You guys have Subway Pizza? Wow, that's awesome. We only have the "make your sub a wrap" down our way. I don't though, the subs are good enough on their own. My favourite is the Italian BMT on Herbs and Cheese bread with chicken pieces, cheese, toasted with pickes and southwest sauce. Yum. Otherwise I quite like Oporto. Most fast food places actually. I really should eat less crap.

If any of guys ever go to Southern California, stop by a In-N-Out. They make the best fries in the entire world. I'm not streching the truth.

KFC? Eh, only thing I like from KFC is their bread thing-a-mabobs. Seriously, the potatoes taste like glue. Perhaps I'm biased though, as I don't like non-fast-food fried chicken either. Does Starbucks count as fast food? I mean, it's not really food, it's coffee, but... Okay then, fine, other than that, Subway.

Not one, but yes, two, count 'em, two KFC stores in my local area were recently fined and closed temporarily by inspectors for being highly contaminated with general germs and filth.
And I would EAT from these joints! I think I'm put off from KFC for life.
"Disgraceful!"

Bah! Ev'ryone knows the best fast food 'round is Mexican fast food, and no-one does Mexican fast food better than Taco Bell! Not even Chipotle can possibly beat 'em!
Taco Bell's the OG Mexican fast food joint. (I'd recommend the soft tacos or beef/chicken quesadillas; they're to die for)
