238. No matter what happens, even if a tank engine tries to get into your dining room, nothing is more important than having a decent meal on the table. 239. Having a new character appear with the same name as you may cause you to have a bad case of invisibleness. 240. While trucks normally sit around and can't move, runaway trucks are fully capable of running under their own power for miles and miles. 241. Said trucks also are incapable of derailing on sharp curves.

242. Fully loaded pipe trucks slamming a set of buffers is enough to cause the first truck to pole vault over itself and cause a dirt explosion without damaging the buffers at all.

243. Building on that last one, buffers alternate between being extremely fragile and almost indestructible.

244. Racing around the quarry in reverse is perfectly safe and productive. 245. Diesel 10, although he despises Thomas, is happy to see him return in "The Great Discovery."

246: When you see a homeless man [stepney] in the alleys, kidnap him, and take him home to your house [sodor] because all of a sudden all of the dirt and grime will fall off him as soon as he reaches his new home.

247. Diesels are the bane of all evil. 248. Engines can apparently drive themselves 249. Different parts of Sodor change their appearance over time. 250. engines from Seasons 1-7 seem to disappear for quite some time. 251. Every wise engine knows you cannot trust trucks. 252. BUMP because it's worth it. 254: Whenever you tell tales of engines falling down mountains, they're always fake.

255. Tales of reckless American tank engines being turned into pumping engines or generators (or some equivalent) make a good deterent for mischevious young engines.
256. On the subject of the above, Baldwin tank engines cannot be adapted to television, for some daft unknown reason. Just rehash another class, and the kids won't know the difference, even if the class happens to be inaccurate.
257. Percy seems to have one brain-cell removed each season.
258. Almost every episode these days has a sugary-sweet happy ending.
259. Sodor Cheese is famous for being really stinky - er, I mean smelly - and pulling it will make you the smelliest engine on Sodor.
260. On the subject of the above, 'stinky' has become the commonplace replacement for 'smelly'.

263. Apparently, it's safe for a silver engine to come in to Knapford with a passenger train backwards when he's late.

265. Children on Sodor get days off school if an engine goes missing. 266. Passengers, Guards, Drivers and Firemen are immortal. 267. Children on Sodor will never become obese. 268. Parties, picnics and carnivals are always held next to railway lines. 269. Some points will always appear when you need to be pulled back on to the rails.

276: Diesel railcars are highly sprung, so certain things (namely pulling, and smelly engine sheds, to name a few) are "bad for their swerves."
277: It is safe for a narrow gauge railway to hold silly races.
278: Big tender engines will try anything to get out of dirty work.
279: It is now deemed perfectly safe for trains to either a) reverse to help out engines they have left behind, or b) run all over the island in search for tuba players. You don't have to consult with the signalman any more.

280. Engines that are over 140 years old and knew better now want to prove that they are brave by doing stuff more suited to MTV's Jackass.
